Flint Hill Farm in Coopersburg, PA, is a Lehigh County working farm offering overnight Farm Stays. Flint Hill has 6 acres of wooded paths, pastures for sheep, goats, and cows, and assorted gardens planted with herbs, flowers and vegetables. Family "Farm Stays" allow families to experience life on the farm together. While here, visiting “farmers” collect their own eggs for breakfast, help milk the cows and goats, assist with the feeding and handling of the horses, sheep, chickens, pigs and goats to their level of comfort, and overnight accommodations are available in the farm house.
We work closely with many groups: the Pennsylvania Association for Sustainable Agriculture, Rodale Institute, Lehigh Valley Conservation District, PA Women in Agriculture, Heritage Conservancy, and more. A Certified Raw milk dairy provides goat and cow milk for the Flint Hill Farm Educational Center and during certain seasons, the Draft horse teams of the Educational Center provide “horse power” for the everyday work of the farm.
Overnight Farm Stays for 1 to 4 people is the farm house. Since this is an older house, we presently offer two cozy bedrooms and one common guest bathroom. Different options are available for larger families. The original part of the house and bank barn are beautifully constructed of hand hewn beams. Rocking chairs on the wrap-around porch off the front of the farm house offers a restful place for breakfast or relaxing from spring to fall.
