Welcome to Hamanassett Bed and Breakfast in Chester Heights, Pennsylvania, where the past and the present converge to create a relaxing and unforgettable experience. The moment you enter the grand hall, you will be transported to a simpler era where style and grace were the norm.
Located in the Brandywine Valley, it is quietly tucked away among flowers and towering trees, yet is only minutes from all the Brandywine Valley attractions (Longwood Gardens, the Brandywine River Museum, Winterthur, Nemours, Hagley and Brandywine Valley Wineries), Valley Forge, downtown Philadelphia, major universities, and the Philadelphia airport. If you like bird watching we are only 20 minutes from the Heinz National Wildlife Refuge. Also nearby are Ridley Creek State Park, Tyler Arboretum, and Scott Arboretum. Feel free to kick off your shoes and put your feet up; the house is elegant, we are casual! |

Cancellation Policy:

Deposits are refundable, less a $25 per room per night service fee, if cancellation is made 10 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations made with less than 10 days notice will receive a refund less the service fee only if we are able to book your room. Please be assured we will do everything possible to rebook it. There is no refund for shortened stays.

Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment in full for stays of two nights or less, or 50% of your total for stays of three or more nights. You may pay with a personal check, traveler's checks, cash or major credit card at the time of booking.

Pets can be accommodated in the Carriage House and one room in the main house. There is an additional charge of $25.00 per dog per night..

Because of the age of the house, and out of courtesy to our other guests, there is no smoking within the house. Considerate smokers may smoke on the front loggia and on the grounds.
