Located in the Brandywine Valley, Hamanassett Bed & Breakfast Inn is quietly tucked away among flowers and towering trees, yet is only minutes from all Brandywine Valley attractions, downtown Philadelphia, major universities, and the Philadelphia airport.

Seven large bedrooms with private ensuite baths, billiards, solarium, living room with baby grand piano, candlelight gourmet breakfasts, guest pantry stocked with complimentary snacks and drinks.

Our two story two bedroom carriage house is perfect for visitors who travel with pets and children under twelve or for those who just want a little more privacy. It is tucked back into the woods behind the main house and has a fully stocked large kitchen, formal dining room, living room, two bathrooms plus a powder room, and laundry facilities. Bedrooms include a queen canopy and a King. Sofa in living room makes into queen so can sleep 6.

Hamanassett B&B is a welcome alternative for business travelers, providing quiet, secure accommodations at competitive rates including discounts for extended stays. Our 2 bedroom Carriage House is available for long term stays offering completely private accommodations with room for meetings and entertaining. Invite your business colleague to join you for breakfast (24 hours advance notice, please).

Cancellation Policy:
Deposits are refundable, less a $25 service fee, if cancellation is made 10 days prior to your arrival. Cancellations made with less than 10 days notice will receive a refund only if we are able to book your room. Please be assured we will do everything possible to rebook it. There is no refund for shortened stays.
Children: Children Welcome
Children under 12 can be accommodated in the Carriage House.
Deposit Policy:
Reservations are confirmed upon receipt of payment in full for stays of two nights or less, or 50% of your total for stays of three or more nights. You may pay with a personal check, traveler's checks, cash or major credit card at the time of booking.
Pets Welcome
Pets can be accommodated in the Carriage House. There is an additional $50.00 cleaning fee for dogs.
Smoking: Outside
Because of the age of the house, and out of courtesy to our other guests, there is no smoking within the house. Considerate smokers may smoke on the front loggia and on the grounds.
