This was an excellent place to stay. Cheryl and Chip were most pleasant, the food was good and the rooms were clean and had atmosphere. We would definitely come back for a second visit were we to return to the area.
Thoroughly delightful! The inn had historic charm and modern conveniences. The bed was remarkably comfortable.Even though the bathroom was outside the room (the only one not with one within), it was spacious and quite private and no trouble at all. Cheryl's gardens are a marvel, and guests have free run of the many beautifully decorated rooms on the first floor. The breakfasts were delicious, and included homemade strawberry and blueberry preserves. We felt completely at home and had a memorable escape from reality.
The place is quaint and cozy with a definite "homey" feel to it. Gorgeously landscaped yards that are wonderful to walk around. Delicous breakfast served by kind hosts.
This huge, charming, historic inn is beautifully and comfortbaly appointed. We wanted for nothing! We had all the privacy in the world, yet help & information was readily available when needed.
Chip and Cheryl offer the best of both worlds: class and elegance with down-to-earth warmth. That's a true gift!
