Wow! Better than the website suggests - fabulous scenery, privacy or not as you prefer, big screen TV, pool table, fridge & microwave in the commons area. Well mannered pets allowed! WiFi! ...the owners are wonderful and breakfast delicious. Normally I can't sleep first night somewhere because of the unfamiliar noises, but slept like a log here. Are 6 stars possible?

This was a fabulous establishment which pampered my husband and I and made us feel at home. It is a must stay for every individual in a need of a rest from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.

We have already recommended the Locust Brook Lodge to others and they reserved a room the following weekend. We will continue to stay at the Lodge when we are in the area, it was a great place to stay. It was clean, peaceful, and had a real pleasant hospitality atmosphere.

Much, much better than your average bed and breakfast. New, clean construction in the middle of peaceful farmland. A great breakfast crustless quiche.

This was my first experience staying at a B & B. I am a road warrior who stays in a hotel Monday thru Friday. I have stay in all types of accomodations from the Hampton Inn to The Plaza in NYC. I must say I was very impressed with the Locust Brook stay. It was by far one of my favorite locations in the last 10 years. The rooms were great and the breakfasts were to die for. I would highly recommend this to both to business and pleasure travelers. It is a 5 Star location without the 5 star nightly rate. Carol is an amazing innkeeper who made my business week very enjoyable. The bucktail deer and the lightening bugs were a welcome sight each nigh.

Excellent place for a reunion. It's like going home or to your aunt's house. "Home" is it. It's lived-in but not overly so. It's clean but no obsessively so. It is very roomy and yet you can escape to a private place. There are porches and couches and woods! I celebrated a family wedding there - it ended with a bonfire and fireworks! You are safe and secure in a big house in the woods. Think "Big Chill" in terms of re-uniting with family or friends.
