To our knowledge, no one has ever smoked anywhere near the room these people reserved. Smoking is permitted on our outdoor verandah. These people came in, used the restroom, child threw up on the bedspread, garbage was placed in garbage can, bed was messed up and had to be remade, plus bathroom cleaned. Afterward, they left and called by phone that they would not return. The reservation was made for two nights. We charged for ONE (1) night - NOT two. We have a 48 hour cancellation notice that is on our website and on view at the entry but still did not charge for both nights. I am sorry they were unhappy. We have had several unpleasant emails and phone calls regarding this. I'm glad they got it off their chests and hope they find someplace more to their liking if they return to this area.
