The Alexander Benjamin House Country Lodging Bed and Breakfast was built circa 1880 but provides the accommodations of the 21st century. It's perfect for a romantic getaway or a cozy overnight with the family and friends on the way to the mountains in Andrea, PA.

Located right outside of both historic Jim Thorpe and Palmerton, you can do what your heart desires. From skiing, hiking, birding, mountain biking, touring the vineyards and wineries, swimming, shopping to just reading and relaxing there are endless possibilities!

We give a full refund of deposit if cancellation is made at least 7 days prior to booked stay. If not canceled within this time frame, we do offer you the option of rescheduling, but no refunds.

We have a small dog lives in our private residence--she does not enter the b&b at any time. Since this inn was built in 1860, there are no vents or ductwork that could allow her to inconvenience or sicken anyone with allergies, etc.
