Pennsylvania Information
Pennsylvania, also known as the Keystone State, has tons for its visitors to do and see, including zoos, amusement parks, camping, biking, swimming, boating, fishing, hiking and so much more.
When traveling to Pennsylvania, make sure to stop at some of the most popular destinations, including Harrisville, Cooksburg, Beach Lake, New Berlin, New Hope, Valley Forge, Philadelphia, Lancaster, Harrisburg, Gettysburg, Farmington, and Pittsburgh.
Impressively enough, Pennsylvania has 117 state parks, which gives everybody more than enough options to choose from. If you don't feel like putting up with the Arizona heat, you can visit what's known as "Pennsylvania's Grand Canyon" (Leonard Harrison and Colton Point), a natural national landmark and a state park natural area. To explore the daring side of you, visit Hyner View State Park, which has scenic views overlooking the West Branch of the Susquehanna River – a favorite for hang gliders all over the world!
If you're worried that there are not enough kid-oriented activities in Pennsylvania, worry no further! Located in Eastern Pennsylvania (along the New Jersey border) is the Crayola Factory! It's found in the Lehigh Valley region, which is home to the three cities of Allentown, Bethlehem and Easton. At the Crayola Factory, children can explore and try out more than a dozen interactive hands-on activities and exhibits. |
