Enjoy a unique opportunity to stay in the Historic Home of Alexander Gilbert. Now the Gilbert Inn, this Queen Anne Victorian is located in Seaside, Oregon. It is only one block from the Pacific Ocean beach, the "Prom," Broadway, and its popular "Turnaround." The Gilbert Inn is a short walk from everything in downtown Seaside. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, offering guests a home away from home, a seaside oasis away from their day to day cares.

Although breakfast is no longer served at the Inn, many good restaurants are located within a block or two; literally just less than five minutes away. Now Inn guests may enjoy variety and breakfast timing options. The Gilbert Inn's prices have been adjusted in keeping with the new policy. The Inn's guest rooms each have a full private bathroom with tub and shower combination.

Seeking to provide adults with a romantic, restful and restorative atmosphere, the Gilbert Inn does not accommodate children, pets or smokers. The Gilbert Inn is nineteen miles south of the Oregon and Washington border on the scenic Oregon coast. The eighty mile drive from Portland takes about an hour and a half. From Seattle the drive takes about three hours.
