Oar House Bed and Breakfast is a charming historic inn providing romantic lodging in the Nye Beach area of Newport, Oregon, on the Central Oregon Coast. Just four blocks from the beach, half a mile from the bay front, and three blocks from the City Center you're sure to enjoy your stay.

Newport is home to the world-famous Oregon Coast Aquarium, the Hatfield Marine Science Center, two lighthouses, a large fishing fleet moored in Yaquina Bay, miles of sandy beach, and outstanding coastal scenery.

Guest may choose among five unique and beautiful bedrooms located in different areas of the house.
Oar House is a Lincoln County historic site, circa 1900, in an L-shaped Craftsman-style house with a colorful history – it was once a bordello. We have international art & professional décor, Persian carpets, thiry channels of cable music available, and books and periodicals throughout the house to view. We are in the picturesque Nye Beach area, with a beautiful lighthouse with 360-degree views.
