Albert House Inn is a charming Victorian bed & breakfast inn, centrally located in downtown Ottawa, a short walk to Parliament, the National Archives, Supreme Court, business, shopping, dining, entertainment and major tourist attractions including the Rideau Canal World Heritage Site and the new Canadian War Museum.
The inn was built in 1875 by Thomas Seaton Scott who was the First Dominion Architect for Canada. Scott designed the Mackenzie Tower of the West Block of the Parliament Buildings and many fine government buildings of his time.
All guest rooms are en suite, some with Jacuzzi tubs and are individually decorated in keeping with our heritage ambiance. Also real time live online reservations now available.

Breakfast is served in our Dining Room over a three hour period to accommodate all of our guests. Everything is cooked to order from our extensive menu and guests may choose as many items as they wish. Items include fresh baked goods, fresh fruit, eggs any style, pancakes and french toast to name a few. We also offer over 50 varieties of tea and freshly ground brewed coffee.

Check In Policy:

We are unable to guarantee rooms ready for occupancy until 3pm, however guests may register any time after 8am and leave luggage and vehicles until check in time (after 3pm).
Visitors seeking accommodation without a reservations must however register before our reservation office closes at 11pm.

Check Out Policy:

Check out time is noon, but luggage may certainly be left in the office after that time. (Vehicles until 3pm only please).

Cancellation Policy:
|
|
Reservations must be canceled no later than 6pm, 3 days prior to the reservation arrival date. This policy applies for each room reserved. One room night (plus taxes) will be charged otherwise. Please note that there is also a penalty for early checkouts during our high season (May 1 - October 31).
