Downhome Bed and Breakfast is situated in a quiet area of the Olde Town, four blocks from boutique shopping, theaters and fine restaurants. Niagara-on-the-Lake has been designated Canada's "prettiest town". Rich in history, the town dates back to the time of 1778, after the American Revolution, when United Empire Loyalists settled the area and William Street was a vital military road connecting to Fort George. On Queen Street, you’ll be able to view buildings dating back to the War of 1812, now housing unique shops and galleries for you to explore.
All three Shaw Festival theaters are within walking distance from DownHome. As hygiene is important for our guest’s safety, we sterilize our rooms before each check-in using our own Ozone Generator. For those who bring their laptops, we offer hi speed wireless internet connection. The Niagara Golf Club (opened in 1875), is the oldest existing golf course in North America, only six blocks away from DownHome.
