My husband and I decided on a spontaneous getaway weekend to the Port Clinton area. Without advance reservations we were worried, but the visitor’s bureau staff connected us with the McKenna's Inn. As luck would have it, they had one room available and it was perfect for us. Joe and Becky have a beautiful home and make their guest feel right at home. The breakfast buffest is as pleasing to your eyes as it is to your stomach and you can eat your yummy breakfast in the dinning room or on screened in porch, which is a great way to begin your day. We had a wonderful B & B experience at the McKenna’s Inn. Thanks Joe, Becky, James and Boo CM

Joe and Becky were great hosts. Our room was quite nice and Joe's cooking hit the spot. Once you get past the inn's hidden locale you'll enjoy the breezes in the trees at night and hearing the waves on the lake. Even though we had an AC in the room, we didn't have to turn it on once, and this was in late June/early July.

I would highly recommend McKenna's Inn their hospitality is 5 star - it's like staying with relatives. We've go back to the inn four times every year since our first stay in 1996.

Joe and Becky provide a wonderful, peaceful space to spend a night or a whole vacation. The breakfast feasts are well worth getting up early for.

The breakfasts were wonderful, and we loved the screened porch for eating, playing games, and hanging out. We really liked the privacy of McKenna's Inn and found the location to be great for relaxing and going to the islands.

A perfectly delightful Lake Erie getaway spot... beautiful, restful, private! The hosts are gracious and accommodating. We recommend it highly!

McKenn's Inn was spectacular. It was very clean with great hospitality. The room was very inviting and there were snacks avaliable. There was a library and sitting areas. Wine glasses and opener for a late night toast were avaliable to use. The breakfast was great with a variety every morning. The beach was a few hundred feet away and the front porch was screened in for long talks on the porch swing and morning breakfast on tables with white table cloths and flowers. This was our first stay at a bed and breakfast and it was incredible and we would go back without looking anywhere else.

This is an exceptional bed and breakfast. The hospitality, accommodations, and food were excellent. We plan to make a return visit.

The inn was set on an idyllic tree-lined lane leading to the lake and a private beach. We enjoyed walking the beach and swimming in the lake. The setting was peaceful and the inn very comfortable, with its wrap around front porch and abundant balconies. Our hosts were wonderful and their hospitality - including breakfast - was fantastic. We can't wait to go back!
