Live the life of a king or queen when staying at Ravenwood Castle and Medieval Village Cottages, located in the Hocking Hills region of New Plymouth, Ohio. When one steps onto the grounds of this bed and breakfast, they find themselves taking a step back into medieval times as the main house replicates a castle, and the grounds are filled with medieval village cottages, fairytale cabins, and gypsy camping wagons. When sitting at one of the dining room tables in the Great Hall of the castle, one might feel as if they are sitting at the round table of King Arthur, as the dining room is adorned with medieval flags and has the feel of a knights eating quarters. The main “castle” house offers 7 guest bedrooms, all with fireplaces. The 7 medieval village cottages include jacuzzis, kitchenettes, fireplaces, and a deck/porch. One may also choose to stay in one of 5 fairytale village cabins, all with kitchenettes and decks/porches, or one of two gypsy wagons, which each have a refrigerator and microwave, and a deck/porch. Breakfast is included every morning in the stay at any of these quarters. Be sure to stop at The Little Shops at Ravenwood and The Coach House Tea Room during your stay at Ravenwood Castle and Medieval Village Cottages.
While here, guests enjoy the natural attractions of Hocking Hills State Park, only ten minutes from this bed and breakfast. Explore six major park regions and 25 miles of hiking trails while discovering the natural beauty of Cedar Falls, Old Man’s Cave, Rock House, Conkle’s Hollow, Ash Cave, and Cantwell Cliffs, all located within Hocking Hills State Park.
