My husband chose this based on reviews and what a great choice. Off of the beaten path so very quiet and peaceful. Beautiful spacious room with a lovely private bathroom, tv and fridge. Very clean and beautiful building and grounds. The full breakfast was delicious. Loretta, the Inn keeper, was very helpful with a list of local places to visit/shop. When I raved about the soap in the bathroom and the pancakes, Loretta told me where to get both the soap and the recipe for the pancakes. Wish we could have stayed longer!

Truly a wonderful experience! This was our third visit with Paul and Loretta at The Barn Inn. We stayed 4 nights and enjoyed every minute, wishing we did not have to leave. The Inn is flawless - very clean and comfortable, with a calming, peaceful atmosphere. Numerous times we looked out the window to see a buggy passing by or animals across the street in the pasture. Breakfast is delicious and coffee, home-baked pastries, fruit and other snacks are available throughout the day/evening. Loretta or Paul share each morning at breakfast about the Amish culture and provide tips regarding interesting places to visit in Holmes County. This information really causes our experiences to be exceptional as we rarely visit any of the "tourist places", but rather visit the homes and businesses which they suggest. Loretta sat with us one evening and shared with us for 2 hours about Amish history, culture, and clothing. Our lives are truly enriched through experiences we have had at The Barn Inn. We always leave The Barn Inn anticipating and planning our next visit.

It was country charming with first class style. The room was spacious and extremely comfortable with outdoor space and a scenic view. There were many amenities available and the food was yummy. It is a great choice when exploring the Amish lifestyle in Holmes County.

Living in a busy city, we find The Barn Inn to be a serene, relaxing place to stay. Loretta & Paul are gracious hosts, Loretta's breakfasts are healthy & delicious. The rooms are tastefully decorated and have all modern conveniences. Loretta will provide information about the local Amish/Mennonite community & advise you of places to visit. This was our 5th visit but it won't be our last!!

This was our first time staying at a bed and breakfast and WOW what a difference. This is a first class operation ! The breakfast both mornings were excellent not to mention "real" no continental real eggs, french toast, local made sausage. The Inns Keepers were perfect host catering to our every need. Took extra time each day to make sure we knew how to get to the very ares we wanted to visit. Even gave us some tips on some places that aren't on the normal tourest circuit. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and very accomadating. We will defenatley be going back and would recomend this Inn to anyone/everyone we know. Great Place to visit

Very gracious people. Loretta at breckfast gave a talk about the places in the area that we might want to visit. It was different both days and then the other people talked about where they had been. Because of this hospitality we visted places we had never been aware of and we have been visiting this area of Ohio many times. Also very quite night time. No traffic and very nice area.

OUR STAY AT THE INN WAS WONDERFUL. IT WAS A LAST MINUTE DECISION. MY FATHER PASSED AWAY I MONTH AGO AND MY STEPMOTHER OF 23 YEARS IS MOVING TO FLORIDA. PROBLEMS WITH OUR KIDS AND I WAS TO THE POINT THAT EVERYTIME I SPOKE I CRYED. MY HUSBAND AND I DECIDED TO GET AWAY JUST OVERNIGHT AND EVERYPLACE WE CALLED SAID WE COULD NOT CHECK INN UNTIL 3-7P.M. WE TOOK A CHANCE AND MY HUSBAND SPOKE TO LORETTA WHO DID NOT HESITATE TO SAY COME NOW AND IT WAS 10A.M. IN THE MORNING. SHE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS GOING ON IN OUR LIVES. THE ROOM WAS WONDERFUL AND JUST WHAT I NEEDED TO STEP BACK AND TAKE A LOOK AT LIFE AGAIN. I MEANT LORETTA AT BREAKFAST AND WHAT A DELIGHT. THE FOOD WAS WONDERFUL AND SHE WAS THE MOST LOVING PERSON. I MENTIONED THAT I LIKED THE COLOR OF THE BATHROOM IN THE ROOM WE STAYED IN AND SHE WENT TO THE BASEMENT AND BROUGHT UP THE PAINT. TOLD ME WHERE SHE GOT IT AND LET ME COPY THE NUMBERS OFF THE CAN IF I WANTED TO GET THAT PAINT. WE WOULD RECOMEND THE BARN INN TO EVERYONE. IT WAs a wonderful time and loretta made you feel like you were one of her family.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay, wishing we had at least one more day to enjoy. The atmosphere was cozy but not confining. We arrived unexpected yet were remembered as previous guests(from two years ago) and treated as friends of the family. The conversations at breakfast were fun and lively over delicously home-cooked dishes, hot coffee, and laughs over "how do I get the frost off my window?" - You'll have to visit to get the "inn keeper's story" on this one!
