Our Holmes County Ohio Lodging establishment was named 1 of the Top 10 B&B's in the USA. Garden Gate Get-A-Way B & B is a bed and breakfast in Millersburg Ohio and is perfect for your Amish Country vacation. One of the things that guests love so much about Garden Gate Get-A-Way Bed & Breakfast is our evening campfire. When all of the shops and restaurants close you can retreat back to our bed and breakfast and unwind around the warmth of campfire.
Another guest favorite is that along the brick path that leads you to your guest room we have planted 3 seasons of perennials that welcome you with bursts of color! Our B&B offers 5 garden-themed rooms from standard to Jacuzzi. Each guest room has a private entrance, private bath with hair dryers, queen bed with quality linens, 5-star amenities, TV and VCR, air conditioning and an in-room coffeemaker.
Our bed and breakfast sits on a rolling hill surrounded by Amish farms. You are bound to hear the gentle clopping from horses as you see many buggies pass by our B & B. Let us set up dinner in an Amish home, a tour, on-site massages, golf, and more, to help make your stay more memorable. You're going to love our homemade breakfasts! |

We have stayed at Garden Gate Get-A-Way several times and have never been disappointed one bit. The rooms are beautiful and clean, and the breakfasts are delicious! Carol has been the best at helping us plan our stay, not only with maps to various sites, but also making reservations for the special places she recommends. We love the conversations at breakfast and at the evening campfire. The gardens are beautiful and attract lovely birds that are the sweetest alarm clock anyone could ask for! Thanks Carol and Herb for making us always feel as if we are home!

Loved the book in our room that gave directions to local areas. We took that book along on every trip we went on while we were exploring Holmes county. We loved the fire ever evening. So nice to sit back and relax at the end of the day.

The Garden Gate Get-A-Way is one of the finest B&B's we have stayed in. The owners are delightful and professional. The Garden Gate Suite was quiet, comfortable, clean and so relaxing. The warm cookies and bottled water was a treat daily. The notebook was such a help for exploring the land. We really enjoyed the evening fire pit conversations with Carol and Herb and guests. Breakfast was yummy!
I would highly recommend The Garden Gate Get-A-Way B&B!
Thanks Carol and Herb for a delightful 'Girls Get Away"!

This B&B is the best one we have ever stayed at. We have been coming there for almost 9 years now and plan to continue. The cleanliness is not to be matched anywhere!!!! Herb and Carol are extremely friendly and knowledgable about the Amish and the area. They are willing to help you find anything. They continue to update the B&B with wonderful touches. The breakfast is fabulous with all homemade foods. We highly recommend this B&B to anyone!!!!! Clyde and Mary Jane Magee

This was our first time to a Bed and Breakfast and what a wonderful experience it was for my husband and I. This was like our very own retreat for the two of us! After arriving, we were greeted immediately by Carol and taken to the Rose Garden Room where Carol showed us the room and all the amenities in the room. We had a box of local chocolates, roses in a vase, sparkling white grape juice, bottled water, local cheese and crackers, mints by our bed, and bath robes. We had breakfast each morning with Carol and Herb and learned many things about the area, the Amish and about each other. We truly enjoyed the 2 hour bus tour with Herb, what a wonderful tour guide with so much knowledge about the Amish. That evening we had set up with Carol to have a Amish dinner with the local neighbors. What a treat! This is a must for anyone that wants to be in the heart of Amish countryside to see and learn about their heritage. Thanks to Herb and Carol for their wonderful B & B they have here, I can't think of anything else I would change or add, they have thought of it all for their guest!

From the time we arrived and heard the clip clop of the horse pulled Amish buggies until we left. It was a very relaxing time, our hosts made our stay a wonderful experience and our expectations were well exceeded. Great breakfast, comfortable room, and location in Amish country. We hope to visit there again soon!

We had a wonderful stay at the Garden Gate located in the middle of Amish country. The hospitality was outstanding and our hosts were very knowledgeable about the area. The notebook in our room provided us with lots of ideas of places to see and things to do - it even included very easy to follow directions including maps. The room was very nice and since it was a cool night, we enjoyed the fireplace in our room. The breakfast buffet was delicious. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

We had a wonderful time at Garden Gate Get-A-Way. Carol and Herb were gracious and entertaining hosts. Located right in the heart of Amish country they gave us a wonderful tour and provided a large notebook full of directions and information for the best things to see and places to go. The rooms at the Inn were luxurious, clean, and modern. There were many little touches to make our stay memorable including the social campfire at the end of the day. We will make a point of going back.

This was our second time to stay at Garden Gate. Both stays met our expectations, and more. From initial reservations via email to check-out, everything was handled in a professional and personal manner. We will definitely return for another stay in the future.
