The Spitzer House is a Victorian beauty hosting 3 guest bedrooms, all with private baths. Built in 1890 by a team of builders for Brigadier General Ceilan Milo Spitzer. General Spitzer and his cousin Adelbert were known throughout the country for organizing the first Bond Houses in the United States outside of New York. This German Renaissance home remained in the Spitzer Family for seventy years, and is a fine example of the Queen Anne architecture with Eastlake design. The Spitzer House has two cherry staircases, two ten foot tall cherry entrance doors, stained glass windows, 4 fireplaces/stoves, original warm pine floors, cherry and oak woodwork throughout.

Cancellation Policy: |
Because of our size and location, cancellations affect us significantly. Therefore, we adhere to a strict cancellation policy. If a cancellation is made less than 7 days prior to the arrival date, you will be charged for the entire reservation. Reservations canceled more than 7 days prior to your arrival date will be refunded your deposit less a $35 processing fee. Should it be necessary for you to depart earlier than your confirmed reservation dates, you will be responsible for all of the original room nights booked for your intended stay. We can not be responsible for unused rooms due to late or canceled airline flights, family emergencies, threat of bad weather and other travel-related mishaps or for changes in plans which shorten your stay. Vacation Insurance is available from several providers online to inexpensively protect you against covered unexpected events. |
