What a beautiful and relaxing place! Jeff & Bobbi were friendly and gracious hosts. Our suite and the common areas were spacious, beautifully decorated, and comfortable. We especially loved the eclectic art collection! We had two breakfasts and a private dinner, and all were delicious and artfully presented. A perfectly indulgent and relaxing getaway!

The Inn at Welsh Hills was the venue for our recent wedding and family reunion in July. For those readers who have not yet experienced this exceptional inn, consider this a completely enthusiastic recommendation, with no reservations at all.
The Inn itself is beautiful – imagine a gorgeously appointed home, beautiful works of art everywhere and furnishings that manage to be both elegant and comfortable at the same time. Add to that the grounds of the Inn – fifteen acres of rural Ohio at its best: meadows, pond, and woods, along with a beautiful swimming pool and gardens close to the inn itself. For those of you who may enjoy an emphasis on the BREAKFAST part of ‘bed and breakfast’, we can also attest to excellence in that area as well – we enjoyed not only the breakfasts but also the dinner and brunch that were prepared as part of our weekend event.
There are, of course, many inns and bed and breakfast locations that may offer similar external attractions – beautiful location, perfect architecture, comfortable bedrooms that invite deep sleep and relaxation – but the true differentiator in the bed and breakfast experience ultimately happens because of the spirit, generosity, and commitment of the innkeepers themselves. Bobbi and Jeff demonstrated their understanding of this essential element in every aspect of our stay, from the moment of our arrival until our reluctant departure.
Our wedding weekend included dinner for approximately thirty people on Saturday night, our wedding on Sunday morning and a brunch/reception following the wedding. Bobbi and Jeff worked closely with us well in advance of the wedding – intentionally a very simple ceremony – and coordinated every detail perfectly, from menu selection, seating arrangements, and guidance that helped make the weekend a wonderful experience. (And they did so remotely, as we were both living on the west coast and unable to visit the inn in person prior to our weekend event…..)
On the day of the wedding, Bobbi was ‘everywhere at once’ – helping us with last minute details, making sure our guests were comfortable, and ensuring that no detail was overlooked. Our wedding experience was immeasurably enriched because of her care, concern and focus on making it as perfect for us as possible.
In conclusion, whether you are considering the Inn at Welsh Hills for a weekend retreat, a wedding, a family reunion, or other group event, you will be rewarded with an exceptional experience for any of those occasions. Having now experienced it in the summer, we look forward with eager anticipation to return visits during the other three seasons!
Thank you Bobbi, Jeff, and Emily for a truly exceptional experience, and we wish you continued success in your innkeeping adventure!

We had a wonderful weekend at The Welsh Hills Inn. The detail in making our weekend wonderful was inspiring. No need to look further for perfection. We were lucky and able to book a room on short notice. It was our first time there but it will not be our last. The rooms were wonderful and our private dinner on the side porch was a treat. You could not beat the atmosphere. Jeff & Bobbi were delightful owners and Ellie the dog was a wonderful addition. DETAIL DETAIL DETAIL.

The Welsh Hills Inn far exceeded our expectations. The Inn was clean and absolutly charming! The Christmas lights and decorations along with the wonderful fire in the fire place made the evening perfect. The hospitality of Jeff and Bobbi was excellent and we look forward to coming for another visit next time we're in Ohio!

Eureka! There is gold in the Welsh Hills! Bed and breakfast gold, that is. In the rolling hills of Licking County in Central Ohio, is a really exceptional bed and breakfast inn - the Welsh Hills Inn. My wife and I recently visited the inn for a week. I want to tell you about four aspects of the inn so you can understand my enthusiasm – the wonderful hosts, the picturesque location, the beautiful facilities, and the memorable breakfasts.
First, the hosts, Bobbi and Jeff Noe, are two of the nicest folks in Ohio. They are both highly qualified professional people who decided to become inn keepers. They are very friendly, helpful and caring – really genuine human beings. They know what people who stay at bed and breakfasts want and they give it abundantly. Both of them are actively involved in their community, so they can help you make connections for whatever you might need during your stay. For example, Jeff was able to help me with a local family business situation. Another example, Bobbi is currently the volunteer president of the board of the Licking County United Way. I cannot leave out the Noes’s daughter Emily, who helped me out when I first arrived, and their golden retriever, Ellie. Ellie is a real sweetheart of a dog. She is really beautiful and lovable. She is one of the best trained dogs I have ever met - even when food is involved! We felt really well taken care of by the entire Noe family.
Second, the location of the inn is great! The inn is situated on the top of a hill surrounded by wooded hills and fields in all directions. To reach the inn, we drove along little well-paved winding roads through some of the most picturesque countryside. I compare the scenery to the Cotswolds in England. For those who may be concerned that the inn is too far away from Granville or Newark, do not be concerned. The drive is not very far or time consuming. However, the payoff is significant! As we left the village and drove around the curves, I could feel myself relaxing and unwinding. The drive was like a quiet meditation. Once we got to the inn, the winding drive up the hill past the pond and the meadows to the house reinforced my feelings of peacefulness. I enjoyed sitting on the porch early in the morning to watch the sun come up like thunder out of the forested hills to the east. One morning, in the mist, two deer and their fawns were grazing in the meadow. This is indeed an enchanted place!
Third, the inn itself is beautiful and comfortable. Two sides of the inn overlooking the views have porches with rocking chairs and a table where breakfast is served when the weather permits. (It permitted for the entire week we were there!) Bobbi and Jeff have decorated the inn beautifully with art works they had collected over 25 years. Their collection is eclectic and interesting. The rooms are spacious and furnished with high quality furniture, bedding, etc. Technology is a given. The wall-mounted big screens have virtually everything available including satellite radio channels. (Try channel 6071 for Siriusly Sinatra if you like the good old tunes.)
Fourth, the breakfasts are great! If you get up early enough, you can catch Jeff bringing in fresh eggs from the farm down the road. (I can confirm that he puts all his eggs in one basket – a real risk taker!) Both Bobbi and Jeff are involved in the cooking. Examples: Jeff does wonderful omelets according to your selections. Bobbi does wonderful French toast. Both focus on healthy breakfasts with the right kinds of bread, fresh fruit, etc. High quality espresso, coffee, tea, and juices, etc. are available. Breakfasts are wonderful experiences here with the added benefit of conversation with the other guests.
I recommend the Welsh Hills Inn enthusiastically. My wife and I have traveled widely for a long time. We have had lots of bed and breakfast experience including B&B heavens like Charleston SC, Ashland OR with the Oregon Shakespeare Festival, and Santa Barbara CA. Even though the inn has been in operation only about a year, I predict it will end up on a Best B&B list very soon.

This has to be as close to a visit to heaven as you can get without actually going there! Wonderful, delightful Innkeepers/Owners and an incredible bed and breakfast inn. Late night swim in the wonderful pool and a picnic bike ride in the country were added treats. The wines were excellent and the breakfasts just delicious. Can't wait to return again in the fall.

We were in the Granville area for one week visiting friends and the Inn was the perfect home base for us during that time. We stayed in two spacious rooms (one king for my husband and me, one queen + twin rollaway for my two kids) connected by a jack-and-jill bathroom. Everything was very comfortable, clean, updated, charming and tastefully decorated.
Each morning we were greeted by Jeff and Bobbi as well as a delicious breakfast that included anything from fresh fruit to French toast. We also enjoyed spending time exploring the various areas of the property like the duck pond and the oh-so-inviting pool.
Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed a stay at this unique, inviting B&B. Perfect for anyone visiting the Columbus area.

Our entire experience at The Welsh Hills Inn was amazing. The home is beautifully decorated. No detail has been spared. The hosts, Jeff and Bobbi, are gracious and attentive creating an atmosphere where you can truly relax. The accommodations were spotless. The food was wonderful. We enjoyed watching fireflies sitting on the front porch at night, time beside the pool and a stroll through the beautiful grounds. The hosts have thought of everything. If we lived closer we would definitely make this an annual experience.
