Whispering Pines Bed & Breakfast welcomes you to a little 'piece of quiet' overlooking beautiful Atwood Lake and its 28 miles of scenic shoreline. You’ll love the stunning lake views in a peaceful environment. The Inn features 9 guestrooms furnished with upscale antiques and contemporary conveniences. All guest rooms have a 2-person whirlpool tub, fireplace, balcony and a wonderful breakfast is served in the sun room overlooking the soothing waters of the lake. There are several sitting areas outside to enjoy the surroundings and the view. WiFi is available in the common areas.
For Romantic Inspirations we have created several add-on packages for special celebrations or to enhance your getaway. You can choose from massages, flowers, candy, snack plate, birthday cake and more. We also offer small wedding ceremonies, reception and elopement packages.
While visiting Whispering Pines, we invite you to relax & unwind, however, there are many lake activities available and things to do in the area that are convenient to get to.

A true gem of a place, just wonderful, from the rooms that are absolutely comfortable to the grounds that include a pond with friendly frogs, sitting areas for sharing wine, a swing (we watched the sunset!) and a hammock (took a nap). Lake Atwood is wonderful for a swim, lots of great restaurants nearby and wonderful breakfast! We celebrated our anniversary and it was a perfect weekend!

We celebrated our 40th Anniversary at this wonderful Inn. The place was immaculate, comfortable, warm and romantic. We were welcomed and felt welcome every minute there. The room was comfortable and well appointed. The snacks were excellent, especially the homemade cookies. We loved the breakfasts but the best part was the owners/innkeepers. They were just wonderful.

This is our third trip to Whispering Pines. We try to stay here every couple months. We love the quiet (and of course the breakfast). We feel renewed when we leave. Bill and Linda have a very special home that they share with those who stay here.

We had the opportunity and pleasure to stay at this B&B on February 12, 2011. From the moment we arrived on the property, we both felt a sense of calm and relaxation. We were greeted at the front door by Linda, and immediately felt welcome. We were shown to our room which was much more than we had imagined!! The whirlpool tub in the room and the large spacious room were outstanding, well kept and clean. We were also treated to home made cookies!! Breakfast the next morning was filling and delicious. We had dinner at the Lighthouse which was amazing as well. We are looking forward to another visit in the summer when we can take advantage of the lake!! Truly outstanding innkeepers who take pride in their B&B as it shows in the home, the food and the hospitality!! 5 stars!!

Cozy rooms, pretty atmosphere and great breakfasts! The innkeeper and her husband were very friendly and accomodating. Would like to stay in nicer weather and enjoy the beautiful surroundings.

Had a great time. Linda supplied ideas for dinner locations and had maps for hikes at a nearby park. No TVs in rooms.

Bill and Linda were absolutely wonderful. Their home is truly amazing from the beautiful scenery, to the spot on décor and ending with the fabulous breakfast. Our romantic getaway weekend couldn’t have been better. Thanks! :-)

Absolutely wonderful experience. The hosts could not be more gracious and the breakfasts were superb. The grounds are calm and peaceful and the view is rather special.
