The French chateau style house has a distinctive mansard roof, curved glass in the bay windows, iron cresting on the roof top, and seven stained glass windows in the projecting centre tower. Inside there are 24 rooms and five open fire places. The cost of building the house in 1894 was $29,000 - roughly 2 million by modern standards.

Renovations In 2005 The Dunhams purchased the Inn in February 2005, and renovations began that summer. Great care was taken to mantain the original splendor of the 1894 home.

Highest tides in the World! Windsor is centrally located to just about anywhere in Nova Scotia. Less then an hour away, at Burntcoat Head, you can experience the worlds higest recorded tides! About 1.5 hours away in Maitland you can actually ride the tidal bore for an excelirating adventure ride!
