Welcome to the Knightswood House in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia an ideal location for relaxing and touring. We offer a 10% discount for stays of three or more days, so unpack your bags and plan day trips to the quaint Fisherman's Cove, the beautiful Eastern Shore beaches, South Shore Villages, Peggy's Cove and the Annapolis Valley.
At the end of the day come back to your quiet retreat and relax on the decks or by the pond. Locally visit all the historic sights of Halifax, take a city tour, go deep sea fishing or whale watching. In the evening enjoy some of our many excellent restaurants or barbecue back at the Carriage House.
A short 15 minute drive or a trip on the ferry will bring you to the center of Halifax or the Dartmouth water front. We also have excellent theatres, art galleries and museums on both side of the harbour. If your stay extends to the weekend churches of all religions and denominations are available.
Outdoor activities are but a few minutes away. There are numerous golf courses to choose from all between ten to twenty minutes away. We offer discounted golf at The Links at Montague. The wonderful woodland Shubie Park is two minutes away and offers many kilometers of prepared walking trails and a lake side supervised swim area. If you enjoy cycling, the Waverley road is a favorite of locals as it follows the lakes and wanders through a desirable residential section of Halifax County and the Knightswood is part of the route!
Finally if you still have energy at the end of the day the night life of the area will offer exceptional samples of Maritime music and talent or you may want to try your luck at our Casino.
