We had a lovely 4-day stay at Chateau on the Mountain... Northern Lights suite was comfortable, light & airy with gorgeous views of the valley and Blue Ridge Mountains. This B&B feels like an exclusive, private estate, but Lee & Jeanne Yudin made us feel quite at home. Lots of great dining and sights within easy driving distance. |

We loved spending time at the Chateau on the Mountain. After seeing all of the sights in Western North Carolina, it was great to come back to such a comfortable and welcoming B&B. The room was very clean and inviting, the food was delicious, and we really enjoyed the state-of-the-art jacuzzi in our room. We'd recommend it to anyone who wants a romantic get-away in the heart of the Blue Ridge. |

Our room was magnificent. Over 900 square feet and we felt like royalty in the Biltmore Suite. The views from the inn were incredible. We would recommend Chateau on the Mountain if you are planning on visitin Western North Carolina. |

My husband, my daughter and I just had a wonderful trip to Asheville, and stayed in Chateau On the Mountain for 2 nights. And we loved everything that this Bed & Breakfast has to offer, here are just a few out of the many that we are really impressed: the dream like sunset view from our Biltmore suite balcony, healthy and tastey breakfast with great mountain view, very warm and intelligent innkeeper Jeanne and Lee, artistic interior decorations, a beautiful mansion with a swimming pool, and with all the wonderful amentities, this bed and breakfast is conveniently situated near several local Asheville attractions like Biltmore Estate, Chimey Rock Park, Ashville downtown...this is the one place that my family likes to stay again in the future.

Returned from five days/ four nights of pure heaven. Jeanne, Lee, and Crystal were awesome owners/innkeepers. Chateau on the Mountain is a great place to go for a romantic getaway. the Biltmore Suite was huge and accomediated all our needs, you never have to leave the room. The Chateau sits on top of a mountain looking down on Fletcher, NC and the sunsets are awesome. You see horses, wild turkey's, cats, rabbits, etc that keep you guessing as to what will appear next. We would recommend this to anyone. We will be back. |

We spent a wonderful week at Chateau on the Mountain. The innkeepers Lee and Jeanne were fantastic hosts and became good friends by the time we had to leave. Lee is the chef and Jeanne is the brains of the operation. They are skilled at providing the perfect balance between meeting your every need and giving you plenty of “space.” Breakfast was served with a keen sense of humor. The inn was a great jumping off point for day visits in all directions around the Asheville/Fletcher area. The .9 mile road up to the inn was a fun adventure. Be sure and ask your hosts about the “road story.” We had a delightful vacation in North Carolina and our Chateau experience was the principal reason. A truly wonderful getaway which we highly recommend. Faye and David, Jonesboro, Arkansas |

Our anniversary is in July and having moved to NC, we usually have hot and humid times to expect when we do something to celebrate. But you'll find a trip to the mountains a cooler and less humid time, and so we did at the 'Chateau on the Mountain'. The view was great, the location quiet, and the rooms were comfortable and relaxing. The Inn Keepers - Lee and Jeanne were great conversationalists - warm and friendly. Unfortunately during our visit the spa tub in the Sterling Castle was on the blink, though it was still a comfy soak for two. Favorite part was after a five hour trip there and arriving early evening, we had perviously requested the "Dinner is Served" reservation. Was nice to relax in our room and enjoy a yummy dinner for two. Being only 20 minutes from Asheville, you are not far all sorts of activities as well. We stayed two nights and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. |
