Gloria & Edgar's B&B

Being our first time staying at a B&B, we (me, my husband, my parents and grandma) had no idea what to expect. We were met at the door and shown around to all the rooms, kitchen, "glass room", family rooms, and they were all gorgeous. All decorated tastefully and the gardens out back were nice to walk around... We spent a lot of time in the "glass room" (a huge florida room) where we had breakfast and bugged Gloria & Edgar into taking their picture :) Breakfast was great! The omelets and pancakes were perfect!
If we are ever in the Fayetteville area again we definitely are staying with Gloria and Edgar! My grandma insists they were the highlight of our trip :)

Gloria & Edgar's B&B was a wonderful find in Fayetteville! Edgar is a quite an accommodating host, who, upon our arrival made it clear that "Their house was our house". My wife and I both took advantage of the extra pleasure of Gloria's superb, relaxing massages. Everything about the place was enjoyable...from the beautiful gardens, which I'm sure are great in the spring, to the rooms, especially the "Carolina Room", which is big, bright and open where all guests can enjoy a view of the gardens while eating breakfast. We will without doubt continue to stay at this superb establishment every time we come visit our daughter! How could you not? Edgar and Gloria make you feel like it's your own home and you are part of the family! I highly recommend Edgar & Gloria's to anyone traveling in this area.

This B&B is just as nice as it looks in the picture. There are 4 delightful rooms and you can even book the entire house. Gloria and Edgar were gracious hosts and definitely made you feel at home. The breakfast was very good and the room was very comfortable. We have family in the area and this was very convenietly located. We plan to return in the near future.

Our stay at Gloria and Edgar's B&B was wonderful and worked out perfectly for us. Our family occupied the whole B&B and it was better than being at home, much better than a motel would have been for us. Gloria and Edgar were the perfect hosts and made us feel very comfortable. The home and its surroundings was very nice.

This was one of the best B&B’s I’ve ever visited and it is firmly in the top two. Gloria and Edgar are a delight to be around and they are the ultimate hosts. They were very gracious and were a big help during our first visit to Fayetteville. I highly recommend this B&B to anyone who may be visiting friends or family located at either of the military bases. The B&B is in a great part of town and is away from the base but still has easy access to the base and the various areas of interest in the town. Another nice benefit to this B&B is that with its close proximity to I-95, it has easy access to and from the Raleigh-Durham area.
The house is beautiful, their garden and landscaping is gorgeous, the two porches on the front of the house are a wonderful place to sit and enjoy your morning coffee, and the sunroom in the back of the house is an incredibly relaxing place to be. They even have a covered parking area with room to park about 3-4 vehicles to keep them out of any weather and lots of room for additional vehicles to park. They have three different public sitting areas inside the house (in addition to the two porches out front), and another covered patio area just outside the sunroom. They have a lot of flexibility at their location and overall it was a great place for our family to stay during our visit. It was definitely a home-away-from-home and they made our stay very pleasant. If you’re coming to the Fayetteville area, this is definitely the place to stay!

If you want your family to enjoy all the comforts of home without making breakfast and doing your own linen laundry, choose this B&B. My family stayed for an entire week and we loved every minute of it. I have stayed at many B&B's and I would stay with Gloria and Edgar again and again. If you are looking to rent out the whole house or just need a weekend get away choose to stay with Gloria and Edgar!
