What makes Brookside Mountain Mist Inn Bed & Breakfast in Waynesville, North Carolina so special? We're not your typical old, Victorian-style Bed and Breakfast. Built in the 1950's, this ranch-style bed and breakfast offers oversized rooms, some of them over 350 square feet! All of them feature fireplaces, private baths and sitting areas. The wormy chestnut paneling in the enormous living room provides a warm and somewhat rustic feel to this elegant, luxury inn. All of our rooms, including the living room, dining room, front and back porches are located on the same level. No stairs to climb and no overhead noises!
Our most dramatic feature is the panoramic vista from our back patio. The Blue Ridge Mountains are up close because you are nestled in a valley among the Balsam Mountain chain. This spectacular view is also visible from the huge plate glass windows located in both our living and dining rooms. Find the cross illuminated at the top of the highest visible peak and we'll be sure to tell you the folk story behind it!
During the cooler months, snuggle up to the fireplace in the living room with a good book or for some warm conversation with your hosts or other guests that start out as strangers and end up as friends. Our inn specializes in providing you with the exact experience you set out to create for your luxury Smoky Mountain escape. From social and interactive to private and relaxing, we're here to make sure you have everything you need. Our goal is to make you feel as comfortable as you feel in your own home. On warm summer mornings, enjoy a three course breakfast out on the back terrace with the birds and squirrels to entertain you. Your gourmet breakfast may begin with a homemade blueberry, cream cheese muffin, date nut bread or a cranberry walnut scone. The second course of your breakfast experience can range from Blueberry Cloud (a house specialty) to baked pears or fresh fruit with a homemade custard sauce (also a house specialty). Your breakfast entree is a masterpiece to behold! We'll complete your meal with a magnificent presentation of Southwest Chicken Frittata, Belgian Waffles or Orange Pecan French Toast (our signature dish). Your breakfast will be served to you in a casual, yet elegant manner in a friendly and warm environment. In-room breakfast is available upon request.

Cancellation Policy:
|

Deposit refundable if cancellation at least 14 days prior to arrival date (30 days prior for stays in October and Holidays), less a $25 processing fee. For cancellations less than 14 days (or 30 days for October and Holidays), we will do our best to re-book the room. However, if the room cannot be re-booked, the equivalent of one night's stay will be charged for one to two night reservations. For a reservation of three nights or more, one half of the total amount will be charged. No shows and early departures will be charged the full amount of the reservation.
