Welcome! The Duck Smith House Bed and Breakfast is centered right in the small pottery town of Seagrove which has about 100 potters scattered throughout the countryside along winding roads. In town you can walk around and visit some of the local potters and visit the museum. Stop in the Seagrove Hardware Store, which is a landmark still selling horseshoes one at a time or nails by the pound.

Stroll around the B&B and see the two tobacco barns and two log cabins. Sit on the swing, which hangs from the 100-year-old black walnut tree, and listen to the birds as they feed from hanging feeders from the tree. The front porch is very inviting with white wicker rockers and chairs sit here and watch the sunset while you enjoy refreshments.
The living room is very cozy and warm. On cooler days there is a gas log fireplace and air conditioning for those hotter days. The breakfast room has a display of the local potters for you to look at. Breakfast is a special time and no one leaves hungry. Daisy Mae is the resident dog on premises who will greet you and let us know you have arrived.
