Located at the base of Pilot Mountain State Park in the town of Pilot Mountain (better known as "Mt. Pilot" from the Andy Griffith Show), Scenic Overlook Bed & Breakfast is nestled on 100 acres of woodlands. Sitting high on a hillside, the home looks out over the six acre private stocked lake. Directly behind the lake is the majestic Pilot Mountain. With rowboats, paddle boats, fishing and gazebos and the many area attractions nearby such as the parks, wineries, shops and galleries. We know you'll enjoy your stay at Scenic Overlook Bed & Breakfast.
In this home of over 9,000 square feet, our suites are large with whirlpool tubs for two and gas burning fireplaces; most featuring hand carved mahogany mantles and all with nine-foot ceilings. Each room is decorated in its own individual style, which range from Victorian to Traditional and 18th century furnishings. If the feeling of peace & tranquility tops your priority list along with breathtaking sunrises & sunsets, a beautiful lake & Mountain View plus lavishly appointed rooms, then this is the place for you.
