The Inn on Mill Creek is a secluded bed and breakfast located in the Asheville, North Carolina and Black Mountain area, literally surrounded by North Carolina's Pisgah National Forest and centrally located between the Biltmore Estate, Mount Mitchell, Chimney Rock and Lake Lure. We are surrounded by the calmingly beautiful scenery of the forest, a 170-tree fruit orchard, private lake and our very own dam with gentle waterfalls cascading down its face. We strive for a relaxed, casual atmosphere on seven wooded acres of serenity. Great dining, shopping, golf courses, art galleries and sight-seeing are within a 10 minute drive from the inn. Adjacent to the grounds you'll find two forest access trails into the Pisgah National Forest, perfect for hiking and mountain biking up to Point Lookout, Jarrett's Tunnel and Kitsuma for the serious mountain-biker. On our grounds, guests have plenty of room to stroll leisurely among fruit orchards, cherry trees, blueberry bushes and grape vines. You can lounge on one of three decks soaking up the forest or relaxing by our private trout-stocked lake. Guests can enjoy a cook out on the main back deck, relax in the rockers by the lake on the Lake House's deck, or sit at the patio table on the wedding deck. For even more lake fun, take a spin on the paddle boat or enjoy a canoe trip. |

If you have any special dietary requests, please let us know when you reserve your room. We can prepare diabetic-friendly, gluten-free and vegan dishes, and vegetarian alternatives for all our meat dishes. And if any of our daily specialties aren't quite to your individual taste, we always have standard breakfast fare available on request (eggs, cereal, oatmeal, grits, bagels, yogurts, etc.), in place of, or even in addition to, what we have planned.

Check In Policy: |
Check-in is typically from 3:00pm-5:30pm, though we are flexible with later times. We ask for an estimate of your arrival time, which helps us plan our own schedule for that day. Please let us know if you'll be coming later than expected, even if it changes during the day of your travel. |
Check Out Policy: |
Check out is by 11:00am on your final morning with us, at which time we will take payment for your reservation (and get your room key). |
Cancellation Policy: |
If you must cancel your reservation more than 14 days before you arrive, you will be responsible for a $30 processing fee. If you can simply re-schedule, we will credit this fee toward your future reservation.
If you notify us of the need to cancel or reduce your stay with us 14 days or fewer before you arrive but still ahead of your arrival date, we reserve the right to hold you responsible for 50% of your unused reservation if we are unable to re-book the room. Do let us know as soon as possible... if we can fully or partially re-book the room, we will reduce your charge proportionately (to a minimum of a $30 processing fee).
No-shows and same-day cancellations, which do not allow us even the possibility of re-booking the room, and which have already obligated us to preparation and planning, may incur full-cost of the reservation. |

Our Mountain Laurel and Maple Tree rooms have lofts with full-size beds that provide a great experience for kids ages 12 and under.
Guests must be at least 18 years old to occupy a room without an adult. In other words, we will not make a room reservation for a minor without an adult staying in the room as well. Children under the age of 12 must be in the company of an adult at all times when on our property.
If you are traveling with an infant, please contact us for room availability. We want all our guests to have a relaxing, quiet stay and if guests have already reserved a room at the Inn for a quiet getaway, we will do our best to accommodate you and your little one, while keeping with the wishes of guests who already have reservations. |

The innpugs, Bugsy and Csaba, are not permitted to go in guests' rooms or to roam around the Inn unattended; however, as well-behaved innpugs, they like to make the occasional appearance in order to make sure everyone is having a great stay |

All of the rooms and common areas in the Main House and Lake House are non-smoking. Smoking is permitted outdoors. There is plenty of space to respect the airspace of your non-smoking fellow guests. Ashtrays are available. In-room smoking will incur a $100 cleaning fee. |
