Welcome to Linne ‘Ardan a’ ; The Lake Lure bed and breakfast, lodge, and inn is located in Lake Lure, North Carolina close to Asheville, Bat Cave, Chimney Rock, Flat Rock, Hendersonville, Saluda, and Tryon. Our guest rooms are representative of the Scottish Clans which our family surnames are associated. All are furnished with antique rope beds modified to queen size and complete with premium foundations. Each room’s private bath has a roomy shower with a seat, the necessary amenities, and plenty of hot water.

Follow the loan (a narrow road or path), which leads you upward and into another era, a time when Highland Scots were known far and wide for their hospitality. Total strangers were accepted and honored as if they were family. Leave behind your fasheous whingin’ (troubles and cares) as you venture into the 19th century in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina. Take advantage of the number of activities and attractions in the area including Gem mining, catch a show at the Flat Rock Playhouse, go horseback riding or take a tour of the area with either the Miller’s land of Waterfalls Tours or the Lake Lure Tours.

Check in begins at 3:00 p.m. or at your convenience provided that prior arrangements are made with the innkeepers.
Check Out Policy:
Checkout is at 11:00 a.m. or at your leisure provided that prior arrangements have been made with the innkeepers.
Cancellation Policy:
Unfortunately due to our size, we require a 10-day notification of cancellation in order for you to receive a complete deposit refund. Otherwise, your deposit is non- refundable. However, if we are able to rebook your reserved room, your deposit will be refunded less a $30.00 service fee. Please note that your deposit will be applied to any unused portion of your reservation such as an early departure or late arrival

Deposit Policy:
A deposit equal to one night’s stay assures you of a room. Extended stays require a deposit equal to 50% of the total tariff. Requirements for holidays, special occasions, and complete inn leasing may differ. Minimum stays are required during holidays, weekends, special events, tours, and fall foliage season beginning second week of October and ending November15.
