Melange Bed & Breakfast is a European-styled inn with classically landscaped gardens and elegant indoor and outdoor dining perfect for any romantic escape, girlfriend’s getaway or wedding. Guests enjoy upscale accommodations in four elegant rooms that offer flat-screen TV's, air-conditioning and elegant private baths (all but one have a Jacuzzi tub). Other amenities include featherbeds/memory mattress pads, Turkish bathrobes, ironing utensils, hair dryers, refrigerators, phone, DVD Player and Radio and coffee machine. Wireless internet and printer access are available. Guests enjoy free access to our extensive movie library.
Melange is conveniently located within 30 minutes of Asheville, the Blue Ridge Parkway, Biltmore Estate, Chimney Rock and Du Pont State Forest and is within walking distance of antique shops and restaurants in charming historic downtown Hendersonville. Local cities and towns include Hendersonville, Asheville, Brevard, Flat Rock, and others. Some of the nearby attractions include the Brevard Musical Center, Pisgah National Forest, and the 240 acre Carl Sandburg Home.
Weddings at the Mélange go back to 1949 when Ms. Buchanan was the first bride to tie the knot. Secluded behind towering hemlock hedges and century-old trees, the nostalgic grandeur is still preserved today. Lale and Mehmet ‘s fervor for natural beauty and attention to detail are reflected in the classical gardens with fountains and arbours and with comfortably elegant party facilities. The eclectic décor highlights indoor events with marble floors and fireplaces, gilded mirrors, antique lamps and oriental carpets. Just imagine the wedding pictures!
