Located 45 minutes from the Raleigh-Durham airport and less than 2 miles from interstate 85, The Lamplight Inn resides on a 150 year old tobacco farm in Henderson, NC. Let us beckon you with the soft glow of the many chimney lamps used to light this restored farm. Relax on the wraparound porch or stroll the grounds. Relax in a hammock, porch swing, on the barn porch or the corn crib screened gazebo.

A Gourmet Breakfast will be served in the classic style daily in the main dining room. Guests may prefer dining on the wide verandah. Picnic Baskets are available by advance order and courtesy snacks and beverages 24/7 for your convenience. Special diet requests are welcome, including vegan and gluten free alternatives.

A short drive will bring you to the Kerr Lake State Recreation Area to enjoy sailing, fishing, water skiing and hiking. This, 50,000-acre, man-made, lake is a haven for water sports enthusiasts and landlubbers alike.
