Haynes B and B was a great place to stay while picking our daughter up from UNCG. It was immaculate, with a delicious breakfast, a wonderful large second story porch with a lovely night time view of historic downtown Greensboro's twinkling lights! I would highly recommend this B and B, I really enjoyed my stay and am planning to stay there every time I visit my daughter.

Dale and Glenna Haynes were wonderful hosts. Their B&B was warm and comfortable. I saw their home on a B&B web-site, but it did not capture the total Haynes B&B experience. Our vacation was better than we expected because of the comfort of the Haynes B&B. My wife and I had a hot delicious breakfast each morning to get us started, and returned to the warmth of the Haynes B&B to rest after a long day. We will always give first choice to a B&B for all of our future vacations.

Glenna was awesome. We felt at home. It was a perfect location. We were treated as family and they were very helpful. The house is beautiful and had an easy going atmosphere. Their breakfast rocked and we can not wait to go back. If you are looking for a quick getway hang out with Glenna and her family. Love love loved it!!!

Haynes Bed & Breakfast was a great place to stay in Greensboro, NC. Glenna & Dale Haynes helped me feel right at home. Everything was so clean. My bed was very comfy. Both my breakfasts were delicious and the table setting was just lovely. I would recommend staying there.

We had a great time at the Haynes Bed & Breakfast in Greensboro. The house is a five minute walk from downtown. Glenna and Dale were wonderful innkeepers and hosts. The downstairs living and dining areas were beautifully and immaculate. Our bedroom was a good size with plenty of closet space, which we needed because we stayed for almost a week. We had a desk with chair and a comfy sitting chair. The ceiling fan helped with keeping it cool in the room. "Our State" magazines, which were in the room, also provided some interesting reading material. Every day bottled water and apples were placed in a basket. Wine glasses were also provided. The bed was quite comfy and there were plenty of bed pillows and blankets. Our large private bathroom was tastefully decorated and clean. Extra toiletries were provided and fresh towels were provided every other day. The shower pressure and temperature was good throughout our entire stay. A really nice feature of our living space was a front porch; we used it every day. It was perfect for enjoying a cup of coffee or a glass of wine. As for breakfast, the quality of the food was good; more of a variety of choices would've been nice. The menu consisted of scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, oatmeal, and granola. We also had muffins and biscuits. Pancakes or egg toast would've been a nice choice. The table setting was always beautiful. Because of the proximity of the B & B to the train station, the train whistle during the wee hours of morning was annoying at times, but closing the windows helped alleviate that problem. All in all, all stay at Haynes B & B was wonderful and we would go there again if we were in Greensboro. Glenna and Dale were very friendly and accomodating.

I had always wanted to stay at a Bed and Breakfast and this was my first opportunity and what a wonderful experience. I arrived from a long drive to find the most charming and welcoming home and rooms. Glenna and Dale were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for my needs and central to restaurants and transportation. I recommend it highly and intend on returning very often, if only just to get away and relax.

I highly recommend staying in this beautiful home and with the Haynes family! I stayed in the Haynes B&B for four weeks in February 2010 while being on a business trip. The welcoming smiles of the hosts and the cozy rooms immediately made me feel like being “at home”. Also, it was great to start every day with the delicious breakfast choices including Glenna’s self-made pastries. And in the evenings I often enjoyed sitting next to the fire place in the lovely living room. Besides the house, the entire neighborhood is great. The B&B is located within walking distance to the downtown Greensboro area and the central train and bus station. It is very convenient to take a bus to different places in Greensboro (e.g. the shopping malls, Tannenbaum park or the campuses). But it is also worth staying downtown Greensboro: There are plenty of good restaurants, two bakeries (very important for me as a German), museums (especially the new civil rights museum), theatres and boutiques to be reached within a few minutes walk from the B&B. All in all, everything about my stay in Greensboro was perfect! I definitely want to return to Greensboro and especially to the Haynes B&B.

Haynes Bed & Breakfast is my favorite place to stay in Greensboro. The house is very nice and the owners - Dale & Glenna - are both such wonderful people. The location is ideal: Just a few minutes walk from downtown and yet far enough away from the main street to be quiet and peaceful. I will certainly visit them again.
