Weddings in The Garden
The gazebo is lighted and has a ceiling fan that provides a comforting space for every month. The gazebo is a well-known place for wedding pictures.

Breakfast Each Mornging Included In Room Rate
Breakfast will be served in the Main Dinning Room each morning from 7 to 9. Coffee or Tea is followed by juice and a fresh fruit plate. The traditional southern breakfast will be your delight or hot cracked cereal with apples, pecans, and raisins is and option. Let us know if you need a special diet, and we will do our best to accommodate. Breads and muffins are home-made.

Group Gatherings, Family Reunions
The main parlor will host a crowd of thirty easily. The crafted brass chandelier, fashioned in 1927, accents the fluted Doric columns. This formal room offers an area for cards or chess or some social conversations with other guest. The stairway offers a picturesque site for brides and bridesmaids and other formal gatherings. During the winter months the fireplace will add to the warmth of the formal room.

Tommy Byrne, Yogi Berra & Mickey Mantle
Our library can also be used for dining if a large crowd is present. The library can seat ten for a formal meal. The library is accentuated with an Italian inlaid mahogany clock that chimes every quarter of an hour. Other mementoes of The New York Yankees and collectible art can be viewed in the library. The Library can also be used as a quiet retreat from the business day for reading or internet research.

Tommy Byrne, Joe DiMaggio & Phil Rizzuto
John's father Tommy Byrne played with the New York Yankees during the 1940's and 1950's, the Joe DiMaggio and Mickey Mantle era of baseball. The Inn is full of memorabilia from this period of baseball. Tommy Byrne made the All-Star Team in 1950 and led the American League in pitching in 1955 (16-5). Baseballs and trading cards are also part of this collection of the golden age of baseball. John wears each day the 1950 World Series Ring his father has given him.

North Carolina Romantic Getaway
The Savannah Sparrow Room is a large bedroom with the original bathroom to the upstairs. A queen size, rice plantation, tester bed centers the room. An antique mahogany chest with drop desk offers spacious work and storage area.

NC Bed & Breakfat Inn
The Carriage House is a bright and relaxing suite that one can enjoy some private time looking out on the inn's gardens, watching a Flat Screen TV - DVD movie, listening to a Bose radio or relaxing in a hot tub.
