The Pack House Inn in Edenton, North Carolina is a gracious bed and breakfast inn located a short walk to the historic Edenton downtown and waterfront. The Pack House - formerly part of the Lords Proprietor's Inn in Edenton for 23 years - offers eight spacious guest rooms and features a huge parlor with two coal burning fireplaces, rustic pine plank flooring, Cypress flooring in the bedrooms, an overlooking balcony, and a wonderful porch supported with Tuscan Columns. Room rate includes evening wine and cheese, continental plus breakfast, 24 hour access to guest kitchen and the use of an Espresso Bar. The Pack House Inn was featured in Albemarle Magazine.
A variety of fine antique decor is featured throughout this Edenton Inn, including works of art by several local artists such as Jane Perry and Sally Porter. In fact, this Edenton Inn is full of interesting things, from paintings, objects of art, to an authentic cherokee Indian Blanket. All of the beds and armories are hand crafted by Master Craftsman Benjamin Hobbs of Hertford, NC.
Edenton's The Pack House Inn, built in 1915, was originally a Tobacco Packing House at the 1785 Strawberry Hill Plantation. In 1987 it was cut in half and moved to Edenton, N.C. to its present location. Restored and converted into an eight bedroom inn by Arch and Jane Edwards, founders of the well known Lord Proprietor's Inn. This two-story Edenton B&B is one of North Carolina's best examples of a Tobacco Packing House architecture - one of a few still in existence. The Pack House Inn is on the NC Historic Register. The Pack House Inn in Edenton is simply perfect for leisure travelers, romantic couples, family reunions, large groups, weddings and receptions. We look forward to making your stay ... excellent! We have also added The Tillie Bond Cottage to our family this past April, once the residence of Edenton's famous resident, Tillie Bond, who owned The Cupola House!!
The award winning Pack House Inn consists of three restored buildings. Rooms 1-8 are in The Proprietor's. Rooms 14-21 are in The Pack House. Rooms 22-23 are in The Tillie Bond Cottage, which is pet friendly. The Pack House Inn is located in the historic district, within walking distance to the waterfront. The Innkeeper's Giuliano Giannone and Michael Scalpi are the National 2011 Innkeepers of the year. (READ ALL ABOUT IT!).
Room Rate includes: 3-course breakfast plus 24 hour access to guest kitchen to a variety of snacks and beverages. A complimentary split of wine is in your room upon arrival. Cheese and crackers are offered between 5pm-7pm.
The 3-course breakfast is served between 8 am - 9:30am. Guests enjoy breakfast served in the Tillie Bond Dining rooms. Gluten free and vegetarian selections are also available, upon booking.

Best Bed and Breakfast, Inn that my wife and I have stayed in many years. Attention to details is evident. Breakfast was delicious. Giuliano is a gifted chef.

Best Bed & Breakfast in town!! Super clean, well appointed spacous guest rooms, fabulous breakfast, very friendly Innkeepers, 100% Sanitation Grade, Wi-Fi, we took advantage of the 24 hour special $99 Rate. Will stay again...The Boycott's

This has been my husband & I's third stay at The Pack House Inn. It used to be The Lords Proprietor's Inn. I must say that it is much better that before. The Innkeeper's attention to detail. The Inn is vey clean, well decorated and well appointed. Great breakfast is served in the morning between 8am - 930 am. They offer a evening wine & cheese reception too. A great value fr your money, I would have expected to pay more for what they offer the guests...We will rturn time & time again.
