Granville Queen Inn is located in the heart of the Historic District and the center of town of Edenton, North Carolina. You’ll want to stroll along our shady streets past handsome period homes and historic landmarks. With irresistible boutiques, antiques shops, and fine restaurants, just a block away you will understand quickly why Edenton is called "the south's prettiest small town".
From the moment you arrive at the Granville Queen Inn, it will be our pleasure to see that your visit is a memorable escape from the daily routine. With seven beautiful suites to choose from each with a gorgeous southern architectural detail you will feel embraced in charming comfort. Some of our suites have access to a sitting deck overlooking our stunning flowering gardens, while others have spacious bathrooms with large soaking tubs. Begin your morning with a fresh hot breakfast in our dining room or enjoy it on our plantation porch
There is so much to do here! You can arrange fishing and sailing trips at the docks, only two blocks from the inn. The Visitors Center offers exhibits and guided walking and trolley tours. For a leisurely day trip, head for the beaches of the Outer Banks, the nearby historic plantations, or our gentle country roads just right for biking. There’s musical theater in the evening, as well as the famous Lost Colony outdoor drama, just a short drive away.
