Morning Glory Suite Morning Glory is a three-room suite that spans the whole front of the inn on the second floor. It includes a balcony that overlooks the serpentine walkway and front yard of the inn.
The bedroom is decorated in engaging purple, mauve and pale pink and has a sitting area in a bay wall and contains a collection of antiques that includes, in addition to the bed, a French armoire, a marble-top dresser, and a “fainting couch”.
Each corner room boasts an original coal fireplace.
The bed is partially canopied and its spectacular foot-board (shown here) is a wonderful testimony to the skills of craftsmen working with rosewood, walnut, and mahogany veneer.
The suite was originally two bedrooms, one of which we converted into a spacious wash area. It contains double sinks, a corner Jacuzzi big enough for two, a shower, and a sitting-area water closet.
We added mood enhancers such as dimmer lights, candle lamps and a stereo system.

The Ivy Room The Ivy Room pictured here is on the first floor of the inn just off the hallway across from the dining room. This room is decorated in dark green with cherry accents, the window has a stained glass panel in it, and there is also a very elegant tiffany stained glass lamp on an antique dresser. Prominent is the solid cherry Victorian bed, adapted to accommodate a queen sized mattress. Included in the most spacious of our single room is a bath/shower combination in its private marbled floored bathroom. There is a sitting area, large closet and private access to the western side of the big wrap-around porch with your own glider.

Moroccan Room Located at the end of the carpeted hallway on the second floor of the inn, the Moroccan Room is perhaps the darkest and quietest of our rooms. The queen-size antique brass bed, shown here with its Egyptian cotton spread provides a very comfortable rest. Green and gold decorations are enhanced by the painted Moroccan furniture and antique wall hangings. Here is a small writing desk, sitting area, and a very elaborate Victorian marble top dresser. The private marbled-floored bathroom for this room is adjacent to it, across the narrow hallway, and features a shower. The Moroccan Room is decorated in an exotic dark green, with accents of gold and brick red, the large brass bed is another fabulous treasure.

The Scandinavian Suite The Scandinavian Suite comes with white iron beds and a jacuzzi. The suite is decorated in a light airy blue and white, and can accommodate more than two people. One of the most interesting things to be found in this suite is the porcelain sink pictured below, a rare find indeed, but then these little special touches are what make The Blooming Garden Inn so special and unique.
