Breakfast at the Arrowhead
One of the highlights of enjoying lodging accommodations at our North Carolina bed and breakfast inn is awaking each morning to a full gourmet breakfast of homemade scones, fresh fruit, and a hot entrée. Included in our room rates, a Breakfast at the Arrowhead B&B is a delicious way to start your day!

Benson Room
Recapture the magic of a time gone by when you enter into the Benson Room, one of the Manor House's original rooms, which showcases circa 1775 brickwork above the fireplace mantle. Soft blue and rose floral wall coverings soar to the high ceilings with intricate moldings surrounded by 150 year-old white wainscoting which complements the wall décor. A plantation-style queen carved cherry four-poster bed beckons you to a peaceful night of rest with the glow of the gas log fireplace casting its spells not far from the footboard. One might watch a movie or cable TV from this vantage point of the extremely comfortable high mattress. Indulge yourself and your partner in the soothing two-person corner whirlpool or relax under the rainforest shower - all nestled hearthside. Step out of the tub onto a rich burgundy Oriental rug which partly conceals the original heart-of-pine floors, reminding one of this historic environment. A bedside desk may be the perfect place for writing those overdue love letters or catching up on the latest e-mail. Hidden behind pocket doors is a private cozy bathroom.

Pyne Suite
As you enter into the inviting sitting room of this two-room suite, you may be awed by the high ceilings and moldings which showcase an antique frosted glass chandelier.  The subtle gold damask wall coverings above the cream wainscoting add timeless charm to the suite. Unwind with your favorite glass of wine and your antipasto platter set on a small table in front of the soft coral satin loveseat. Turn on the switch of the warm gas log fireplace and relax hearthside in the wingback chair. A cable TV/DVD player is hidden in a handsome cherry armoire. A corner wood writing desk provides the space to connect with the outside world through WiFi. Walk into the comfortable sleeping room with high ceilings and experience the romantic ambiance of the queen mahogany plantation bed covered with an heirloom arched diamond net canopy, which has been hand tied in the mountains of North Carolina. Slip under the soft texture of the high thread count sheets, amid plush pillows and a soft coral satin duvet comforter. Relax in the deep soaking tub or experience the rain-forest shower in the warm paisley bathroom which offers a spacious black granite sink top.

Lipscomb Room
This original master bedroom of the Lipscomb Manor House is currently under makeover and will be unveiled in mid-February. The Lipscomb Room will be redressed with a king cherry plantation bed, new wall coverings, wainscoting, and an Oriental rug. Flat screen TV with DVD will be added along with other amenities. The welcoming gas log fireplace with antique mantle, heart-of-pine floors, and molding will be preserved and will continue to invite a historic atmosphere of bygone times. The spacious bathroom will be transformed with an oversized soaking tub and a separate glass-enclosed steam shower with imported tile. The original walls of the 1775 Lipscomb Manor House bedroom will be exposed, examined, sealed, and covered with insulation, and new walls will be installed -- all in the name of luxurious comfort and style. Mason Room
Savor the tranquility of the past as you enter this historic bedroom where Charles Mason was born some ninety years ago. His baby picture and photos of his family grace the soft raspberry and white floral wall coverings. Behold the white lace-covered windows overlooking the front magnolia trees and gardens and feel the sunny warm atmosphere. Slip into the queen rice bed with soft plush pillows and cuddle under the rose-colored duvet and comforter. The glitter of the fire from the charming gas log fireplace creates a romantic setting. The fireplace mantle showcases early southern decorative arts with a built-in antique mirror. Watch your favorite movie on the TV/DVD screen player discreetly hidden in an overhead cabinet. Sip on a glass of wine and savor some decadent chocolate and relax in the wing chair. If you must work, your writing desk provides ample space to connect via Wi-Fi. Refresh yourself under a rain-forest shower in a glass enclosure in this cozy bathroom.
