If notification of a cancellation is received at least seven (7) days prior to the arrival date, the deposit is fully refunded. If notification of cancellation is received between seven days and 48 hours prior to the arrival date, the deposit will be refunded less a $35.00 cancellation fee per room. For cancellations less than 48 hours in advance, a fee of one night’s stay will be charged per room. For special events and holidays (not including Duke Graduation), we charge a 50% deposit at the time of booking. If notification of a cancellation is received (14) days or less prior to the arrival date, the full amount of the reservation will be charged and is non-refundable. We highly recommend travel insurance for our guests. Travel insurance is available from several vendors. Reservations for Duke Graduation carry 50% deposit requirement and have a 30-day cancellation policy. Again, we highly recommend travel insurance for our guests. Early departure falls within our cancellation policy. There are no refunds for early departure. We reserve the right to treat a partial cancellation as a cancellation for the entire stay.

A deposit of one night's rate per room is required at the time of the reservation. For holidays and special events, 50% of the total is required at time of the reservation. All deposits must be made by credit card at time of reservation.
