An Invitation To A Magical Place In the Mountains.
Looks Just as it did in the beginning. Experience history. The three story Balsam Mountain Inn welcomed its first guests in 1908. For decades visitors arrived by rail at the old Balsam Depot, formally the highest railway station east of the rockies. They would disembark on cool, starry summer evenings and take a slow stroll or carriage ride up to the inn.- Dining room
