The NorthLodge on Oakland Asheville bed and breakfast is far from ordinary . . . but close to everything else. North Lodge is convenient to all that is Asheville. Only a five minute drive to the gates of the Biltmore Estate, this b&b offers you convenience as well as comfort! The Biltmore House is one of Asheville's premier attractions. It is the nation's largest private home with more than 250 rooms and is truly awe-inspiring in its splendor. The Biltmore represents the finest in 1895 luxury and the winery is the nation's most-visited. The wonderful outdoor activities never seem to end - great trails, carriage rides, equestrian center, kayaking and, of course, the Bistro and Deerpark Restaurants. You'll find all this and more within the grounds of the Biltmore Estate, one mile from the North Lodge.

And there are so many wonderful things to see beyond the Biltmore House. Downtown Asheville, with its many charming antique shops, gift stores, restaurants, art museums and performing arts, is only a mile away. There is always a celebration going on here. Enjoy a full breakfast with a touch of Southern hospitality (but sorry ~ no grits)! We offer a bountiful meal each day at 9:00 a.m., consisting of fresh fruit, entree, breakfast meat, and home-baked muffins and breads.

Policies
Check In Policy:
Check-in is between 4-7 p.m. If you plan to arrive outside that time frame, please call us. We often run errands from noon to 4.
Check Out Policy:
Check-out is 11 a.m.
Cancellation Policy:
Unlike most inns, we do not charge a deposit at the time you make a reservation. Cancellations received more than 7 days prior to your arrival will be subject to a $25.00 cancellation fee. If you cancel 7 days or less prior to your scheduled arrival, you will be held responsible for the entire reservation unless we are able to rebook the room. This policy may vary for groups, holidays and at certain times of the year. Early departures are considered the same as cancellations and are subject to the same terms.
Children: Children ages 12+
Children over 12 are most welcome. Sorry, pets are not allowed.
Deposit Policy:
The Lodge has a minimum of two-night reservations for the weekends. However, if you call on Thursday prior to your visit, we might be able to accommodate a one-night stay!
Smoking: Yes
Smoking is prohibited inside the lodge.
