Stay at the Bent Creek Lodge Bed & Breakfast in Asheville, North Carolina. Tucked away in the heart of the mountains the lodge is only yards from the Blue Ridge Parkway and 10 miles from the center of Asheville. You’ll enjoy mountain views, the crackling fireplace, the scrumptious breakfast, hiking trails graced with waterfalls and rhododendron tunnels and most of all the gracious hospitality of host Doug & Jodee Sellers. Massage therapist Jennifer Lynn, can stop by the lodge, and just let us know in advance for better availability and we can schedule an appointment for you.
The lodge was built in 1999 using the white pines and red oaks that grew on the property. The guiding principle in all the design and decor was to have a casual atmosphere to make you, the guest, totally comfortable. The Lodge has 10 guest rooms on 3 different levels, each decorated uniquely in a different North Carolina theme. NEW... The Luhn House is available for vacation rental. This 3 bedroom home is located next door to the Lodge, perfect for a group. |

This lodge is tucked away in the quiet woods even though it is less than 5 minutes from many restaurants and stores. It is located just off the Blue Ridge Parkway which allows you to hike all day and rest up all evening in their beautiful lodge. We went in the fall and the colors on the leaves were absolutely beautiful. On our first day at the lodge, we saw just off our balcony, a deer walking along the lodge's paths.
Each room is not only decorated according to its theme, but also has 2 different entrances which allows you to enter and exit your room with the option of going through the main areas or through a more private route.
In the afternoons, Jodee & Doug would bake fresh goodies for everyone. They would also lay out different packaged snacks and had sodas available. Their homemade breakfasts were simply wonderful. The meals were very balanced with different fruits, meats, pastries, and the like. They were great hosts and we look forward to our next stay at Bent Creek Lodge.

The best B&B we have stayed in for a long time. Great location and thoughtfull integration into the wonderful surrounding nature. The inkeepers, staff and even the dogs were very hospitable and helpful and great company. We truly enjoyed our stay. We especially liked the driving directions that were offered for going to restaurants and nature sights. The room was lovely and the view from teh deck fantastic.
The Bent Creek Lodge is a place we definetly will visit again.

This was the perfect place to stay in the Ashville/Black Mt.area. The lodge was lovely, with porches perfect to sit on and enjoy the garden with the woods/trails beyond. It is less than a mile from the Arboretum, which has more walking/biking trails. Doug and Jodee are wonderful hosts, as are their staff. And Jodee's skills as a chef are obvious at breakfast time. We hope to return.

We loved Bent Creek Lodge! The location, on a wooded mountainside, is beautiful, with a wonderfully planned flower garden and paths in back. The lodge was inviting and well designed, and CLEAN. The breakfasts were original and delicious (the innkeeper has a degree in culinary arts, and it shows). The large back porches are restful, the sitting rooms are comfy. We stayed in the smallest room available (the Tree Room) and it was as inviting and accommodating as we could wish! I would definitely stay there again.
