Blake House Inn, originally "Newington", was built c.1847. Surrounded by 150 year old pine and sycamore trees, this fine example of Italianate architecture with Gothic Revival influence will bring you back in time to the more relaxed atmosphere of the 1800's. Just Minutes away from the Biltmore Estate and the entrance to the Blue Ridge Parkway and easy access to Chimney Rock Park, Mount Pisgah, Mt. Mitchell and all other Western North Carolina Attractions.

Blake House Inn has five well-appointed guest rooms, all located on the second floor. Each room has a private bath, fine linens, cable TV (some have DVD players), and wireless internet access. There is a spacious common area, complete with easy chairs and game table with four chairs and many unique games.

Check In Policy:
Check in is between 3-6 pm. Special arrangements can be made for earlier or later check-ins. Check-ins before 3 pm will incur a $10.00 Early Check-In Fee.
Check Out Policy:
Check out is 11:00 am. Late Check-Out is possible up to 1:00 pm. Each hour or part thereof after 11:00 am will incur a $15.00 Late Check-Out Fee.
Cancellation Policy:
Cancellations made with 7 or more days notice will receive a refund of the deposit minus a $40.00 handling fee. Deposits are non-refundable if made with less than 7 days notice.

Deposit Policy:
We require one's night's deposit for 1 and 2 night stays. A 50% deposit is due for stays of longer than 2 nights, packages, and groups (3 or more rooms).
Pets Welcome
We have 4 guestrooms that are pet friendly. All pets must be crated in their room whenever there is nobody in the room. There is a $20 daily charge for the first pet and $10 daily charge for each additional pet.
Pets Living At Inn: Yes
We have pets, but they are all in the Carriage House which is separate from the main Inn.
