Welcome to the Rosedale Manor Bed and Breakfast, a waterfront heritage home in the beautiful coastal town of Placentia, Newfoundland. This B&B is a short drive to Cape St. Mary’s Bird Sanctuary. In addition, the area offers seasonal Whale Watching and Puffin Tours. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon at The Great Beach or discover the local history by visiting an unearthed fortress.
Placentia is located on the Avalon Peninsula, on a route called the Cape Shore which links with the Irish Loop drive, and is only one and a half hour drive from St. John's. We are only five kilometers from the Argentia ferry terminal, one of the main links between Nova Scotia and Newfoundland.
Originally built in 1893 this is one of Placentia’s well known heritage homes. Four well-appointed guest rooms with garden or ocean views, high quality hand made antique furniture and free wireless internet access. We offer a complete breakfast (Phillip is a Pastry Chef) for our guests in an intimate and romantic setting. Be prepared to enjoy some of the finest cuisine in Newfoundland.
