It's better than "home from home"

We were looking for accomodations close to Newark Airport so we focused on Staten Island. What luck in finding Ms. Gorlach's B & B! The rooms in this old Victorian were spacious, clean and inviting with a screened porch right off the master bedroom -- great for reading. Big bathroom was stocked plenty of towels, and supplies. The best part was the generous breakfast with homemade peach cake and the warm hospitality of the innkeeper Ms. Gorlach. From the inn, it's easy to go to the ferry parking lot and take the (free) Staten Island Ferry into the city. There is no better route, day or night, which provides an awesome view of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. We had a great stay and definitely would go back.

The hospitality, food and cakes especially were fantastic, very spacious rooms and just a short drive to the Staten Island ferry. Overall we had a great time.

The Hostess Danuta Gorlach was terrific, accomodations ultra clean and very comfortable, overall a very nice experience.

This was our 3rd time staying at The Victorian B&B. Danuta is the perfect Innkeeper. Her place is very lovely, very clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts are delightful. We look forward to our future stays at the Victorian in years to come.

THE PLACE IS GREAT, ELEGANT AND VERY VISTORIAN STYLE. Danuta, the owner made us feel at home at all the times and she cooked elaborated and healthy breakfast everyday. Danuta made us feel more like old friends staying over than just "new guests". She is a very detailed oriented person, and that is reflected in the immaculated rooms and the entire house. Location is perfect since is close to the ferry station. Definitly a place to try!!
