A marvelous location, complete tranquility, natural beauty, and eye-popping taste in interior design and decor. Every detail has clearly been thought through, and the Innkeepers could not be more gracious or hospitable. Highly recommended for a short or longer stay, and very convenient to Ithaca.

Our stay at the Dane Emerson house was outstanding. Situated on a plantation style setting, the house and property has everything. Great hiking trails, a trout stream, and a large historic barn. Close to the wineries, lakes and downtown Ithaca. The B&B itself is very spacious, decorated beautifully and very comfortable rooms. Each room is decorated in a special theme. We stayed in the Blue Room and The Map Room. There web site shows you pictures of the entire property, rooms etc...and is easy to navigate.
Check it out. You'll love it.

I've stayed at many B&Bs over the years, and the Dane Emerson House has become my new favorite. I stayed in the "Blue Room" - a gorgeous room on the second floor. The Victorian inn has been completely renovated and the Innkeepers, Craig and Chris, have managed to maintain the beauty and charm of the house while adding all the modern amenities. The inn is very close to Ithaca and all the wine tours, which was very convenient for me. The property sits on about 50 acres and the grounds and back deck overlooking the property are in pristine condition. They have a great website, so booking was a breeze (and they have pictures of the property and all of the rooms). Craig and Chris were incredibly warm and welcoming and they have a vast knowledge of the area (what to do, where to eat, etc.) Oh, and breakfast was delicious. There's a reason why I gave my highest marks to this wonderful B&B - the experience was great!
