The rooms are spacious and wonderfully decorated and appointed. The breakfasts are to die for! There is a hot tub on the back deck for guests to enjoy. Common rooms are very comfortable and filled with little extras to make your stay special. I've been coming here for years and will continue to do so! |

Absolutely lovely, pristine accommodations! The grounds are beautiful - a park-like setting. The breakfasts are true gourmet delights daily! The owners are wonderful, friendly people - very helpful but unobtrusive, as someone else has mentioned. The chocolate chip cookies definitely lived up to their reputation! We love this Inn! |

We stayed there 5 years ago and thought it was quite nice. Better now! Improved gardens & facility, continued professional service, decor and atmosphere. Cookies and coffee daily. Gourmet cooks for breakfast, fine facility, perfect location for the Finger Lakes vacation not bothered by the hustle of the "lake traffic". Superb lunch soups at the American Hotel nearby. Lots of choices for recreation or great dinners very close or a perfect location to just kick back, read, do a puzzle or nap. We'll be back the next time we visit the area. Thank you Mike & Lisa. |

The décor and atmosphere of the inn was extremely charming, clean, and very comfortable. The bed/pillows/linens were so soft and clean, I had an excellent nights sleep. The innkeepers were attentive but non obtrusive. The little touches (the complimentary cookies, soda, water, tea, and coffee in the butlers pantry, the wine glasses and wine chilling bucket in each room, the outdoor Jacuzzi, fluffy robes and slippers) were a nice amenity. The inn is tucked away in the woods on very well landscaped grounds (beautiful flowers/shrubs/pond), there are numerous benches placed throughout the property that are wonderful to sit on and enjoy the weather. The breakfast experience is unlike any other that I have ever had, very gourmet and extremely tasty. The dining area is extremely cozy and quaint it offers a great view of the valley while enjoying your ginger scones and tea/coffee. I would highly recommend this bed and breakfast. I don’t live in New York but would most definitely come back to New York just to stay at this inn, that is how fabulous it was. |

It was a complete joy, every item that is represented in their advertising was as perfect as they described. However the food was above anything in print. |

The stay was superb. The breakfast is phenomenal and the location of the Inn is ideal for staying in a country setting yet accessable to popular tourist locations and restaurants. I felt very relaxed during my stay and after. We will definately be returning! |

It was a lovely, relaxing place to be. The three common areas meant that we didn't have to stay in our rooms, and when we did, there was a wonderfull selection of movies to play on our own TV/VCR. No feeling of crowding or stepping on other guests' toes. |

Greenwoods was WONDERFUL!! Mike and Lisa were excellent hosts; friendly and knowledgable yet not "hovering". The inn was beautiful and cozy with a wide selection of books & magazines to enjoy by the roaring fire with a hot beverage and the most delicious cookies. The slippers and robes were wonderful to use with the jacuzzi. Would highly recommend! |

This was a perfect get away location. The location, log home, hospitality, jacuzzi, and fireplace all worked together to make this a fantastic bed and breakfast. There were even 2 deer who made an appearance in the backyard to welcome us when we arrived. I would recommend this B&B very highly. We plan to go back again next year a longer stay! |

It feels like you are staying in a private lodge with plenty of living space in and outside to read, hike, or do whatever you want without interfering with others guests privacy time outside of one's room. There are always a large assortment of refreshments available free of charge. Extra ammenities hide among rustic decor. The breakfast presentation is as beautiful as it is delicious. The hosts are accomodating beyond the usual hospitality expected. |

Both the home and grounds are beautiful (and my wife and I thought that the rooms and common areas were impeccably clean too ...... but more than that: the beautiful hillside (and surrounding countryside) in which the Greenwoods B&B is nestled, as well as the country-style charm of the place itself (lots of natural wood and country style decorations inside) is very warm, friendly and relaxing ..... at least to us: we live in a suburb built shortly after WWII and though there's much to like about our neighborhood (great schools, it's relatively safe, lots of kids, etc) ...... we found the Greenwood's setting and interior to be very refreshing and peaceful).
There were several "nice touches" too -- such as 1) the availability of various flavored coffees, teas, juices and amazing chocolate chip cookies, 2) robe and slippers (for use with the available jacuzzi), 3) nice selection of movies, and 4) a fireplace right in in our room (plus one in the common area).
But the best -- and most unexpected -- part of all: was the exquisite gourmet breakfast. My wife and I learned from the owners that they attended 6 months each of culinary school -- and we can both say with confidence (and with full tummies and smiling faces) that their tuition money was very well spent. The menu on the day we ate brakfast (7-4-00) was poached pear with rasberry sauce, an amazing spinach quiche (with an oat based crust), fresh lemon muffins and apricot rice pudding. No mere "blueberry pancakes" here (although I love blueberry pancakes ....... in fact: we would have been quite happy with blueberry pancakes, juice and eggs ....... instead, we were treated to a feast .... a variety of breakfast delights not ordinarily found in your typical American kitchen ...... at least in any typical American kitchen I've ever encountered.)!
OK -- so I loved the place and really really loved the food. I'd recommend it to anyone. If you go .... prepare to relax, and bring a healthy A.M. appetite.
