Carisbrooke Inn Bed and Breakfast

The Carisbrooke Inn is a really wonderful place to stay. The rooms are very comfortable, very clean and very charming. Lots of attention to detail.There is free internet, a continual all day supply of homemade cookies, fruit, bottled water with use of a fridge, microwave, beach chairs and towels and lots of comfortable and quiet places to sit. The breakfasts are superbe and John the brilliant and attentive Innkeeper (and his great and slightly disobedient dog Sid) and his hardworking staff provide a Happy Hour where everyone can get together at 5pm if they wish to talk about their day and eat (more!) homemade food and cheeses and drink wine or soft drinks. It is an excellent place to enjoy the Ocean and Ventnor.

Carisbrook is great. Clean, pretty close but not too close to the Casinos. Approx. 1 mile. Beautiful beach. Wonderful breakfast.

This was our third year to visit the Carisbrooke Inn. The accomodations, hospitality and services continue to be consistent and exceptional. The rooms are comfy and have wonderful amenities in the bathrooms. The owner is courteous, helpful, friendly and considerate of the vacation time of the guests. He provides exceptional!! breakfasts, beach towels, chairs, tags, use of a frig, evening apps and hires pleasant professional staff. I now tell everyone about it and will go back for many years to come.

Located close enough to Atlantic City to be convenient, yet far enough from Atlantic City to be relaxing. The food and hospitality are excellent. The rooms are very comfortable, very spacious. The most comfortable accommodations I've ever enjoyed.

We were looking for someplace near the ocean with a boardwalk, or a sandy beach to walk on, because walking is what we do, and we found Carisbrooke. The site was right. The Carisbrooke is the nicest B&B we've ever been to. From the comfort of the beds, the cleanliness of the Baths, the quality and size of the breakfast - and the friendliness of the owner and staff. And, as usual, we found the other guests interesting and friendly. I wish that when we visit a B&B elsewhere, that we could relocate the Carisbrooke to the new location. Philippearlman@aol.com

This is one of the nicest places. What a pleasant experience.
John and his staff are most accommodating to whatever it is you might want and need. The food, be it wine tasting in the afternoon as well as the breakfast in the morning that is served is delicious and wonderful. It is a very well kept Inn, 1/2 block from the ocean and the people that we met who were guests as well were all lovely.
I would go back whenever I have the chance again.
