A Slice of Home Bed and Breakfast is located in a quiet, romantic, rural setting, 20 minutes from Ithaca, NY and 30 minutes from Watkins Glen, NY, close to many events, sites, and wonderful restaurants that this area has to offer. We are a short distance to Cornell University and Ithaca College, Corning Museum of Glass and four New York State Parks surrounded by wineries, antique shops, and cross country skiing and bicycle trails. Our location is bicycle friendly too! We specialize in daily self-tour planning. We'll help you to see the sites: the best wineries, restaurants, antique shops, parks, waterfalls and/or hiking areas!
Our 1850's farmhouse is warm and inviting, our home and grounds are frequently used by our guests to congregate and enjoy each other's company. Everyone is assisted in planning their day so that they see what is important to them --wineries, great restaurants, hiking, biking, swimming, antiquing, theaters, etc. A Links Golf Course is just across the street! At the end of the day our guests may enjoy our hot tubs and evening chats or perhaps games. *********** We are now closed from January 1st, 2011 though May 1st, 2011****** You can still use our website to reserve for future dates. |
