Steeped in the rich history of American hybrid roses, Vintage Gardens is a unique property of historical significance. It is noteworthy for its association with the growth and development of the Jackson and Perkins Company, one of the largest and best-know horticultural firms in the United States.

Flowering trees and shrubs frame the gardens a perfect place for weddings and special events
Today, the grounds boast a formal rose garden and fountain, large mature trees, many perennials and lovely woodlands.Vintage Gardens Bed & Breakfast has become a favorite destination for weddings and special events, and can accommodate small to large parties. A number of venues are available to our clients. Formal cocktail parties up to fifty can be hosted in our tastefully decorated ground floor. Expansive buffets and BBQ’s for larger events up to 100 people can be held in our gardens during the summer months. Social Events, and Business Meetings, for smaller groups, can be hosted indoors year round. Whether you wish to conduct business in a private setting, host a private party, or plan your wedding day, we will be happy to help you plan that perfect event.

See the colors change at Vintage Gardens or take a ride along the Erie Canal to see the changing leaves, pick apples in the nearby orchards or taste wines at area wineries.

You can experience any season at Vintage Gardens Bed and Breakfast. Enjoy winter sports, sking, snow mobile or sleigh rides in upstate New York.

Guests love to stroll along the trail that winds its way from just behind the house and meanders casually to a picnic table in the woodland area or taking afternoon tea in magnificent formal gardens adorned with, dogwoods, cherry trees, flowering perennials, rhododendrons, azaleas and more than 200 varieties of roses.

A touch of Asian decor accents this beautiful room, antiques furnishings and a queen canopy bed offer a quiet relaxing atmosphere. Your private bath has extra large claw-foot bathtub and separate shower. Perfect for the couple celebrating their honeymoon, anniversary or any special occasion.

Heirloom Peony Suite
You will sleep cozily in this magical suite adorned with a full size iron sleigh bed and mahogany antique furniture. Relax in your own quiet parlor with twin sleeper and private bath.

American Beauty Room
This charming room with woodland views boasts colorful floral wallpaper a full size antique replica four post iron bed and vintage oak furniture.

English Tea Rose Room
Full of windows this sun-warmed room has antique oak furnishings, a queen bed and views of the formal rose garden and fountain.

A Bright Meeting Place
For a wonderful change of pace, host your next retreat or business meeting at Vintage Gardens. Our meeting room is beautifully appointed, and provides an intimate and comfortable venue to maximize productivity. We can accommodate up to twenty people in this comfortable environment. We offer coffee and refreshments and a catered meal can be arranged.

The Parlor
During the winter months, the estate is open for intimate indoor weddings up to 20 people. Beyond the wedding location, Vintage Gardens can also arrange for food and beverage service, assist in finding the florist, wedding cake designer…even your wedding celebrant should you desire.
