The West Village of New York City is a conglomeration of architectural, artistic, and intellectual history and Rooms To Let - the house at 83 Horatio - reflects that history. In the 20s, the house was divided into apartments and, like many of the private homes in The Village, it has been carefully "reconverted" to reflect its 150 year history. Downstairs, houses a one-bedroom apartment with private entrance, queen bed, private bath, new kitchen, fireplace, direct access to garden, cable TV, VCR, and A/C. This is available by the month only.
Rooms To Let is in historic Greenwich Village, moments away from the trendy Meatpacking District with its designer shops and fashionable clubs. Yet when you turn onto Horatio Street you are in a tranquil oasis. Near the magnificent new Hudson River Park, this part of the West Village is the best place to live in Manhattan. Although the location is central, it is a calm, quiet retreat from the action found all around.
