The Inn on 23rd is a marvelous Bed and Breakfast at modest prices in a neighborhood that has few choices for lodging. It's the right place at the right time. Owner Annette Fisherman and her husband loved staying in bed and breakfasts on their travels, so when they sold their Victorian house in Port Washington, they decided to move into the city, open a B&B and furnish it with the contents of their former home. Ms. Fisherman says she chose Chelsea because she likes the neighborhood-'it fits who I am.'
Our fourteen one-of-a-kind bedrooms are on four floors in one five-story Town House, which are accessible by elevator. Each room is comfortable, each one charming, each with its own special theme carried out in the décor and artwork. All the bedrooms have new private bathrooms, air conditioning, and comfy "pillowtop" queen- or king-size mattresses, which assure you a good night's sleep and sweet dreams. All rooms have double-glazed windows to give you peace and quiet, black-out window shades to keep out harsh sunlight, and white-noise machines to lull you to sleep. When you want something, you can use the intercom which is in the phone system to reach us. There is an outside intercom to buzz in visitors. Each room features complimentary hi-speed internet access and Satellite TV - provided by DirecTV. Complimentary wi-fi is available in the breakfast room
The rooms are equipped with two-line phones with voicemail, data port, Business DSL, iron and ironing board, air conditioner, hair dryer, alarm clock and bath amenities. We can also provide upon request, baby cribs, video players and compact disc players. The Inn has the added convenience of an outside intercom system to buzz in the guests' visitors and deliveries. |

This is the best place in all of Manhatten. It has it all...comfort, luxury, lovely breakfast, cozy, well-appointed guest roms, elevator, private bath, and proximity to everything! Located in the heart of Chelsea, The Inn on 23rd. is a bus, walk or subway ride to all of the City. The Innkeepers are warm and friendly and have left no stone unturned in creating a gorgeous oais in the heart of Manhattan.

We held a press conference in the Library and Parlor on the second floor. We choose this over a sterile hotel room and what a brilliant choice! The backdrop of the library provided an intimate feeling and the wall of windows provided a bright atmosphere. We can't say enough about how pleased we were to have found The Inn on 23rd. Annette, Barry and Ken were so helpful with all the arrangements. This was a true find!
