Mariaville Lake Bed & Breakfast in New York is a 200 acre lake located in western Schenectady County. It is perfect for fishing, swimming, and canoeing. The community has a laid back peaceful vibe but you can be as active as you want and hike or bike. There is plenty of antiquing, shopping, and historical haunts nearby.
Rick and Lorrie Runnels purchased the home in November 2003 and after extensive renovations opened as a bed and breakfast in July 2004. Our common rooms offer cable TV, wireless, and games. Our gorgeous lawns offer a place to play and relax. Breakfast is an unrushed event, served in our formal dining room or on our three-season glassed in porch. Whenever possible we purchase local or organic ingredients and are always happy to accommodate a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.
We offer five unique guest rooms; each filled with antiques, and all with queen beds, private bath and view of the lake. Most of the rooms have hardwood floors and original moldings. There are two marble fireplaces. |

Breakfast is an unrushed event, served at 8:30 in our formal dining room or on our three season glassed in porch. Whenever possible we use local or organic ingredients and are always happy to accommodate a vegetarian or vegan lifestyle.
On our serving table you will find:
* Coffee and Tea
* Fresh Juices
* Yoghurt and sometimes homemade granola
* Fresh fruit
* Some goodies such as cobbler, scones, or cinnamon buns, always homemade.
A different hot entree is prepared every morning. It may be Almond French Toast with real maple syrup, Veggie Frittata, Apple Pancakes, or eggs any way you like them. Add bacon or sausage and cracked wheat bread from a nearby bakery to complete your meal.

Check in time is between 4:00 PM and 6:00 PM. unless other arrangements are made. We plan our day around your arrival time so please call us from the road if you need directions or your arrival time changes. |

Cancellation Policy: |
A deposit of 50% is required by credit card or check in advance of your stay and will be refunded if notice of cancellation is received more than 14 days in advance of your stay minus a $25 cancellation fee. If notice is fewer than 14 days, your deposit is refundable only if we can rebook the room. There is a two night minimum on certain week-ends. Call for details. |
